Fantastic experience: Matt is the best! After a few years of repeated back injuries when playing tennis a physio recommended Matt and the transformation has been incredible. I have a stronger core than I did in my twenties (a hundred years ago) and I've got to be honest and admit that my newly flat stomach is also something I'm pretty pleased with! Matt is a very talented and deeply knowledgeable trainer, able to keep you motivated through rehab and beyond. The sessions are tough (in a good way) and great fun. He's a lovely person and I feel very fortunate to have found him. Thanks Matt!

Fantastic experience: Training with Matt has been great! He worked out a nutritional plan for me and with his help I achieved my weight loss goals. Matt is patient, supportive and always positive. He makes the sessions enjoyable and push’s you without you knowing! I wd highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: After being hospitalised with a serious illness in late summer I was really struggling with stamina, 15kg of weight/ muscle loss, and certain lack of determination. I decided I needed to get healthy, re-build my fitness levels with the aid of a Personal Trainer. This is when I discovered Matt. We met for an initial consultation and discussed my goals and what I wanted from a PT. He was great from the outset, we even discussed food and he encouraged me to create a food diary to ensure I got the right nutritional content and body fuel that I needed not only to recover, but to enable me to lead a healthier life. I am now into week seven of my training program and I have never felt this good. From a gentle start Matt has motivated and pushed me in the right direction, which I could have never done myself in a gym! Even on the days I don’t train with Matt I make sure I keep active, through Matt’s motivation, and do my homework (in the form of some good cardio and set exercises). Not that I have had a PT before, I cannot recommend Matt highly enough. He makes you feel very comfortable and at ease with training and I honestly feel like I have known him for ages. His good banter and encouragement certainly makes the session have a sense of fun, particularly when the going gets tough! Even though I am exhausted (and can barely speak) after each session I cannot wait for the next one!!! Matt – Five stars!
Fantastic experience: As an exercise professional myself I really appreciate Matt’s expertise and knowledge. Although my initial motivation was exercise based, the advice and encouragement on food choices has really changed the way I eat. The sessions have been varied, interesting and the exercises have been taught with an awareness of safety and form. Matt has really listened to my goals and modified my programme as we have progressed. After only 6 sessions, I’m very pleased to be well on the way to meeting my goals.
Fantastic experience: For a middle aged bloke to discover it is actually possible to get fitter and leaner, feel better and be more active despite the advancing years, is rather wonderful. I don't dread the sessions either.
Fantastic experience: Working from home at a desk job isn't the best way to stay fit, so I decided to try PT. During our first meeting I found Matt to be friendly, knowledgeable and I was pleased he could come to me to run the sessions at my home or local park. It's been just over a month, training hard two sessions per week and following Matt's nutritional advice I've dropped 4% body fat while gaining lean mass. I'm now motivated to set even more ambitious fitness goals and get in the best shape of my life. If you're considering personal training, I can wholeheartedly recommend Matt.
Fantastic experience: Matt has been my trainer for over a year. I cannot recommend him more highly. I hate exercise, and he has truly been superb in encouraging me. I cannot claim to like exercise any more - but at any rate, with Matt, it has become tolerable. He is a pleasure to work with and I think few would be disappointed if they were to use him as their personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: I came to Matt to add core and strength training to my already high volume of CV and endurance running and cycling training. I stick with Matt now because of his friendly, low pressure but highly motivational style which not only motivates me not to miss any sessions but also pushes me in each session to my limits which of course maximises the training benefit. It's no coincidence that since training with Matt I have qualified for both the GB team at the European and World Age-Group Duathlon Championships and am running faster and stronger all the time. I intend to train with Matt for some time to come and highly recommend his work if you are looking for a personalised training schedule and a motivating PT.
