Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Outside Fit enough, especially with Coach Jon leading the way! As someone recovering from a brain injury, finding a gym that understands my unique needs and provides adaptive exercises has been a game-changer, and Outside Fit has exceeded all my expectations.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Jon at Outside Fit for over 18 months now, I have lost nearly 10kg in weight and learnt amazing new skills, like pull-ups and handstands! Somersaults next! only joking Jon! He is a great guy and makes every workout different and exciting! Really recommend anyone to try a session with him! The gym is awesome too! This has honestly been life changing for me, we train functional exercises that really relate in the outside world, it gives you much better balance, and more strength in your everyday life carrying suitcases or shopping bags for example Keep up the great work and thanks! Fantastic experience: Always love coming to OutSideFit. It’s such a welcoming environment, has great facilities and everyone who trains there is so nice. Jon the couch is such an expert on everything to do with your training and will help you accomplish any goals you want. The yoga on Saturdays are also amazing and I always leave feeling so much better. The whole vibe is definitely worth checking out. Totally recommend
Fantastic experience: Great experience and pleasure being trained by Jon. Very professional and courteous with his time, as we went way over the hour, yet he continued to train me and two friends without any mention of it. He also very kindly allowed me to join despite the fact that I am not a member with him, unlike my friends. This is a man who knows his stuff. If you want to build strength in the right way, Jon is who you need to train with!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to Outsidefit a couple of times and really enjoyed it. I worked on handstands mostly and Jon is very encouraging and patient. He gave me a lot of confidence and made me feel really comfortable. We also did some mace work/PT and again it was a really enjoyable workout. Would highly recommend, Jon is great at what he does also a lovely person.

Fantastic experience: This fitness concept is fantastic. Jon is very knowledgeable and attentive to your individual fitness needs and goals. He uses tools such as steel maces that make for a very effective functional workout. Jon thought me techniques I’d never heard of or practiced before but they are the most effective techniques I’ve ever used for my core strength, balance and general fitness. I have to say Jon is the best personal trainer I’ve worked with.

Fantastic experience: Jon is an incredibly dedicated PT that goes above and beyond to help you. He has been my PT for two months now and I still thoroughly enjoy every class and leave energised, motivated and feeling good. I have already seen an improvement in my strength, flexibility and posture and have had several compliments from friends and family. Jon has an encyclopedic knowledge on body weight training and utilises weights to complement the workout especially when strength building is the goal. Most importantly, Jon tailors the workouts according to your goals and what suits you rather than applying the classic one-size-fits-all fix that you get with a lot of gym personal trainers. In short, I would highly recommend Jon.

Fantastic experience: Had a callisthenics session with John yesterday, after being brought by a close friend who recommended I come along. The session was great: I worked muscles I didn’t even know I had, and John helped me to test my body to its limits in a fun, safe and functional way. He really knows his stuff and honestly, it was an incredible feeling to be building functional mobility and strength. John’s also a lovely guy and his gym, under a rail archway, is super cool - it has a “Rocky Balboa” feel to it. Book a session with him!

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been able to find a gym and trainer which/who ticks all my boxes. I need a combination of motivation, expertise, fun and fairly quick results to keep me going - but most of all I need a trainer who’s passion for their craft is genuine. In OutsideFit, and in particular in Jon, I’ve found all of the above - and a deep knowledge of health, nutrition, training techniques/form and the body - which I’ve never encountered anywhere. Jon’s grounding in professional gymnastics shines throughout the OutsideFit experience. This gym isn’t about surface or ego, it’s about finding a training plan which works for you, requires hard work but will get lasting results. Jon will put you through your paces, and will expect 100% - and in return you’ll get outstanding value, consistency and 110% in return. I highly recommend the mace classes as a first taste, it felt great to challenge myself, learn a new skill and see results fairly quickly - they also provide you with a great core foundation for the rest of your training plan. I’ve also used the handstand classes in my own yoga practice. Whether you want to learn new skills or perfect existing ones, OutsideFit is the place to do it.
Fantastic experience: Hi Manchester people, My name is Neive and I'm 15yrs old. Today was my first time to go to outsidefit for a handstand class with my mum. I met the coach Jon. He is very nice and welcoming. He was very informative and eased my nerves when I was worried about handstands. He was patient and described the different poses so I could fully understand them. My mum can do it as well and if my mum (she's old) can do it anyone can especially with Jon's help. I learned a lot of new things that I really enjoyed and I'm looking forward to going back again next week. You should go too Thank you for reading.

Fantastic experience: I could write a whole paper on Jons abilities, but it would end up being a poorly spelt hard to follow encyclopedia. so.. simply go see Jon give him just 5 mins and you will see you will of landed on your feet. hes great for long sessions or a mad 20mins for a stress relief. whatever way Jon has you personally structured and covered. dont be fool go get some! (insert hand punching emoji for emphasizing)
Fantastic experience: Ive tried to write a review for Outsidefit a few times but failed as I didnt feel that any of my praise words did it any justice. So I'm just going to give it a shot and hope I get the my message across. It is by far the best gym I've ever been too. Jon the guy that runs it is outstanding. His knowledge and skill completely blew me away. He shares his skills and experience professionally with a humble demeanor explaining every exercise and how it will benefit you. He thinks in a unique way. He is able to adapt and modify exercises to suit the individual. If you are recovering from injury just want to be fitter, trying to lose weight or looking for a bigger bottom, this is the gym to try. If you are thinking about going to a gym, this should be the one you choose. It simply is phenomenal. Thanks.
