My personal training approach is specifically designed to cater to clients 40+ looking for a change to improve fitness and lifestyle. Here’s how I can help you:
Being fit and healthy is my passion, which is why I’ve been a personal trainer for over 17 years. I enjoy sharing my motivation, dedication and enthusiasm with others and I am truly dedicated to working with people to achieve their goals and help change their attitude towards their health.
Everyone leads busy lives and it’s easy to forget that we can all benefit from making our health and fitness a priority in order to cope with all the day to day demands, stresses and activities that put a strain on our bodies.
My whole ethos is based on not just looking great on the outside but also feeling good on the inside. This can be achieved through exercise, nutrition and good sleep – these always work together!
I enjoy working with people of all abilities and my personal training experience has seen me succeed with all levels of fitness, age, weight and size.
"I searched for a personal trainer when my menopause symptoms were getting too much for me five years ago. I was so lucky to find Nina. She has provided a balance of help that supports my physical fitness, my mind and my diet. I train between two and three times a week either in the group classes or in personal one-to-one sessions. After each one I feel uplifted, my body aches, in a good way and I feel better mentally. I am alert and have bags more energy too. Nina offers nutrition advice, small and simple things that make a difference. The mixture of running, training outdoors and using her private home gym mean that I don’t get bored. The things I enjoy most are the fresh air on early morning sessions, the views when we train in local parks by the river, catching up and having a laugh."
Laura been training for over 5 years with me, she was a very busy working mum and wanted to get fit and lose size, to feel happy, confident, more energetic and less tired whilst also dealing with menopausal symptoms. I tailor Laura’s exercise program and sessions whilst, bearing in mind training adaptations, for Laura whilst going through the menopause. Laura is really dedicated to her exercise sessions having now got in to a routine, laura loves getting out in all weathers to enjoy outdoor training and has come along way with her jogging, whilst we chat, share stories, laugh and put the world to rights!

Jane started training in readiness for a big birthday celebration. She wanted a personal trainer as she just could not motivate herself to exercise alone. Jane is now in a routine and has twice weekly sessions to maintain her fitness. Jane always arrives with a big smile, lots of talking discussing the world and we have had a lot of laughs over the years!

I met Lucy in 2012 for a consultation. She explained to me that she hated exercise and had never done any in her life! She asked me how was I going to change the way she felt about exercising. I explained that I would make it fun and enjoyable so she would grow to like exercise and start to feel the benefits of feeling healthy, happy and confident as well as getting fit along the way. Lucy had never run and initially detested our jogs, Lucy has since run a half marathon! Lucy trains regularly, she also has a joint session with Cathy, her friend. We have fun times training and share some funny stories along the way.
