CrossFit^® Weymouth

Fantastic experience: The foundation courses do a great job of showing the type of lifting techniques you'll require and the sort of effort needed for cardio sessions; after that you get a 2 week trial where you can sign up to as many sessions as you want. Once the trial ends there's a range of subscriptions based on how often you want to go. Before joining I wouldn't call myself overly active and I'd never done weight work so wasn't the fittest person. Before each session you do warm ups, the coaches go through the techniques you'll need in stages and give tips as you practice. The sessions themselves focus on different muscle groups to mix things up and have scaling options for people of all abilities. There are multiple morning and evening sessions each day of the week, plus morning ones at the weekend. There are courses during the week for children which get them active and show them how to safely work out (my children have been going for a few years and love it). The equipment is well maintained and has great ranges of weights for abilities. The central gymnastics rig has bars at a variety of heights with adjustable bars for certain workouts. The coaches and others who come are really friendly and supportive; genuinely don't think I would've pushed myself as hard and accomplished as much as I have already without them. Since joining I've competed in "Opens" (a global competition but once again with scaling options), a Throwdown team competition hosted here (highlight of my progress so far!), a series of intense named workouts, "Chad", and "Murph". I have definitely noticed a change in my shape and more importantly feel stronger (mentally & physically). I can't rate this place or it's people highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I was always a bit anxious about crossfit hearing how hard it is. I can't sugar coat it, the workouts are killer but you do just work to your own ability and the team are so good at guiding you through. The members are all so friendly and welcoming too that it doesn't feel daunting. Just be ready to sweat!

Fantastic experience: Great box, coaches and members are really friendly, classes are well structured and has all the equipment you need. Went for a drop-in session as I’m in Weymouth occasionally to visit family, which was reasonably priced at £12. I’ll definitely be going back and couldn’t recommend it more! Thanks to Coach Mark for making me feel so welcome.

Fantastic experience: This Box is incredible , The coaches are very well educated in teaching movements that will be potentially new in your exercise programming. I have only been a member a couple of weeks but i 100% don't regret my decision.

Fantastic experience: This place is so fun, so inspirational and always come out so sweaty but happy after a hard but good workout. They always make you watch your form and scale to your fitness/ abilities too. Would very much recommend.

Fantastic experience: Started here a couple weeks back. Cannot recommend it highly enough. So friendly, supportive and addictive. They do a few trial day and would recommend you try it if you can, you won't look back
