Fantastic experience: I have been a member for more than 6 months now, and out of all the gyms I’ve tried during the 4 years I’ve lived in Manchester, Federation is by far the best. It was built by passionate people for passionate people, focusing primarily on bodybuilding and powerlifting (don’t go if you’re looking for a spa—this place is for real work). It has brand new equipment, high-quality machines, and even a physio on-site. Moreover, the staff is lovely, the coaches are really helpful, and the atmosphere they’ve created is very positive. They also offer meals and a wide variety of protein-packed treats on-site. Come and see for yourself :)

Fantastic experience: As someone who has worked it the fitness industry with professional sports organizations for the last 15 years, i can confidently say that Federation Gym is one the best gyms i have ever been apart of. The people, environment and equipment are absolutely class and i would recommend them to anyone.

The selected kit here is MEGGA, everyone respects the equipment too and keeps the space immaculate. It’s such a friendly and supportive atmosphere regardless of what your training style is. Good vibes all round. Long live fed!!!

Positive experience: Really good gym with friendly, knowledgable staff. Gymeco, primal and Watson equipment so good quality equipment, some unique equipment as well allowing to train the body from different angles. particularly impressed by the back equipment, and cable accessories. Well thought out gym also good space for Olympic lifting and free weights. Only draw back £15.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Manchester, so glad somebody finally took advantage of the baffling lack of "serious" gyms in the city centre. Despite it leaning towards experienced lifters, the environment isn't too imposing so it feels welcoming to every gymgoer. Free weights/posing room lighting is so good I look big sometimes, and the price is fairly reasonable considering the level of equipment. I still can't afford it, but that's next month's problem.

Fantastic experience: I have been searching for a gym in Manchester for what feels like the longest time that not only has a great sense of community, top of the range equipment but an atmosphere to match & I honestly think we have struck gold with this one; The music never misses, cleanliness in the facility is immaculate the equipment is to die for +You’re met with the most welcoming people you could ask for genuinely the best gym in the whole of Manchester

Fantastic experience: On the one hand I wanna tell you all about how incredible this gym is and I want you all to come experience it, but on the other hand, I want to gatekeep so badly and keep the gains for myself. The equipment - on point. The atmosphere - motivational. The gym goers - family. I've enjoyed every single session and pushed myself so much since joining this gym back in October. I can honestly say this is the best gym I've been to over the 5/6 countries I've trained in so far. My only complaint is that I can't live there (yet). If you are a beginner, it might be a bit scary walking into this gym (the same could be said about any gym) but I guarantee you the people around you are more than happy to help you out at any time, along with the owners, Liv and Em, always being available. If you've been training for a while or compete- this place will push you and keep you on your toes like no other place ever has. You'll see some unheard of improvements so long as you're willing to put in the work. This isn't a gym, it's a motivational space for a better you.

Fantastic experience: Exactly how a strength and conditioning/body building gym should be really. Only the best equipment and a really good range too. The whole place attracts a respectful and friendly etiquette. They also have cardio options which i appreciate for when it’s raining- happens a lot in manchester.. The owners are friendly and always say hello. They also play really good tunes! Can highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Manchester hands down no matter if your a bodybuilder powerlifter or just general fitness this gym has you covered the thought that's been put in to the equipment shows not only do the owners know about equipment they also care about bringing the best to the members and there's still more to come excited to see this gym within the next year and the owners are extremely inviting and friendly highly recommend this gym Only negative is it's not closer to me to be my daily gym

Opening a new gym is no small feat, and the team have more than delivered with a great space, banging equipment, relaxed atmosphere and two owners who genuinely have passion for what they are doing. Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, I'm a member of a few gyms in and around Manchester and this has rapidly become my favourite. The equipment they have is unbelievable. Well worth a special trip for if you don't live in the city centre.

Fantastic experience: It’s best to kick off with a Too Long; Didn’t Read, but I will go into depth as well. TL;DR: It’s worth a day pass exploration to see what it’s about. Once you’re in there you start to realise that you need a gym like this. Manchester has been missing a proper bodybuilding/lifting that isn’t insane on the wallet and it looks like one’s arrived!. I visited this gym during its opening week and whilst a few things are still falling into place, it’s easy for me to see myself training here for the foreseeable. The foyer is more than welcoming but the real welcome is downstairs where all the kit is. The first thing to get into is the most important of any gym, the equipment and fun stuff that’s available. There’s every flavour of barbell you could need (Deadlift, Stiff for Powerlifting and Olympic Lifting, Earthquake bar and even the converted Blue Bar - it’s just a bar that’s blue) and every flavour of plate to load them with even getting down to the tiny fractional plates. And you can throw bars+weights around on the halfracks, deadlift platforms, weightlifting platforms or just the standard comp rack. So there’s plenty in that department and that’s only covering the bars & plates… there’s still all the machines. I will say I’m not much of a bodybuilder myself but the range of machines that are available is impressive. You’ve got all the presses, pulls, a good cable area and even one of them belt squat things that are super fun. All the machines look aesthetically pleasing too with their custom padding, it just shows the crazy levels of details the owners have gone to to stamp their mark into everything. Which is a good time to mention the owners. They seem like nice people who really are completing a passion project of making the gym of their dreams and just by the levels of details mentioned, it does show. Just from the chats we had about the place I get the sense they want to set a vibe that it’s just a place for bodybuilding/lifting where you look after the equipment and it’ll look after you. So no frisbeeing the Eleiko plates… It does need mentioning though that at the time of writing not everything that they have ordered is there and there’s still some final bits of sprucing up to do. But, once the project is over the finish line and everything's in its proper place then I’ll see it as an even finer establishment than it already is.

Fantastic experience: Hands down best gym in the UK. Incredible bodybuilding machine selection, and comp spec powerlifting and weightlifting equipment. Great vibe, super nice owners too couldn’t recommend it enough

Fantastic experience: By far the BEST gym in Manchester. No matter if your a powerlifter, bodybuilder, Olympic lifter or train just to train everything you need is available. From the extensive list of barbells and calibrated plates there are no corners cut at all. Even the small differences from standard machines to the Wilson machines make every set even more enjoyable. I have personally never been to a gym with such a high standard of quality when it comes to the machines available (I thought machines were all pretty similar until visiting). Worth a day pass and defiantly worth the monthly membership if you live in the local area. The place to be.

Fantastic experience: As a relative newbie to the gym world/fitness, I couldn’t recommend Federation Gym more! Yes it’s catered to seasoned bodybuilders and powerlifters, but the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere makes it a space where the general fitness population would feel comfortable and confident to train. The equipment is just out of this world and blows any commercial gym out of the water. Really looking forward to my next session! Side note: the meal prep is so goooood.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve ever been to. Must drop by if you lift weights and happen to stop by Manchester. Great vibes and top notch ipf approved eleiko equipment. Well thought out down to the most minute details. Something for everybody. Cons: goodluck training elsewhere after a session here :D
