Positive experience: Very nice venue would love to train here if i lived closer.. Nice and modern strength and conditioning areas Big thank you for hosting the interclub If i was to nitpick It would be toilet facilities were a mess and only 2 male toilets. Sure it not a problem any normal day but today at the interclub it was very busy and toilet seats were covered in urine all day

Fantastic experience: The gym is truly outstanding, with fantastic coaches who are both knowledgeable and passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The training itself is great, with a focus on technique, drilling, and live rolling that really helped me to improve my skills and feel more confident on the mats. The coaches were always willing to offer individual attention and guidance, and I felt like I was making progress every time I trained. I cannot recommend this BJJ gym highly enough. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the gym has something to offer everyone. The coaches are excellent, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the training partners are top-notch. If you are looking for a great BJJ gym, SBG Rochdale is definitely the place to be!

Fantastic experience: Very experienced coaches with great teaching methods. There's a good mix of experience of students, competitors and hobbyists. Would highly recommend... especially the Brazilian Jiujitsu.

Blown away with a plethora of equipment for ANY athlete. With even the most specific of goals. A clean sanitised environment with an amassed wealth of experience about the place in many disciplines. Fantastic experience: Literally one of the best facilities in the UK. Both Full Contact Performance as a gym and SGB Rochdale as a all round martial arts powerhouse, for the absolute beginner to the aspiring MMA, BJJ, Judo, Boxing or Muay Thai practitioner. All staff are incredibly welcoming, helpful and have built a community which is second to none.

Your children will find a place they feel they “belong” and as a parent you will find piece of mind knowing your child is getting the best possible coaching in a very supportive environment.

If you’ve ever wanted to explore any fighting art, whether that be Muay Thai, Boxing, MMA, BJJ, and judo but have always felt too intimidated to come into an established class, then look no further than this gym. The coaches, staff and attendees are the friendliest bunch you’re ever going to meet. You will be treated exceptionally well. That aside, it is the best equipped with weights and functional apparatus. To have knowledgeable staff and an ex marine for head coach (with over a decade of fighting experience behind him), you’ll simply not find a better place.

Fantastic experience: If you live nearby and have a genuine interest in fight sports or martial arts then in my opinion, this is the only place to go. SBG Rochdale have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, a wealth of experience and a proven top tier standard of coaching.

Also best facility hands down in the NW region boasting matted area, bags, cage, ring, and a huge strength and conditioning area. Changing rooms are fitted with lockers and showers and sit right next to a sauna room.

Fantastic experience: Stapes, Derk and the team have put together a facility that can cater for everything from the beginner wanting to get fit or gain confidence from martial arts all the way to the professional fighter with an international career. The coaching level and facilities are to a level unsurpassed in the UK and as welcoming as anywhere I've ever trained. Cant recommend enough.

It has a brilliant weights and cardio area with various classes to suit all levels, personal trainers are available or you can just use the facility and workout by yourself. It has helped to create champions across many sports from powerlifting to mma and it is all done in a friendly atmosphere with a fantastic community vibe. If you want a gym where you can just go and do your own thing or you want to become a world champion in your chosen sport, this is the place to be.

Fantastic experience: Before joining, I'll admit, I had my reservations, I boxed when I was a kid & remembered the hostility & tension in some of the rougher boxing gyms, so I was expecting a lot of egos at play when I first stepped on those mats, I could not have been further from the truth, every person I have ever met here has been nothing but courteous & respectful, in fact I instantly felt at ease, now a few years down the line & these guys are like my extended family, the community spirit is incredible & everyone looks out for each other. I have never been a particularly confident person, but this place, the world class coaching & the people here have brought out the best in me, not just from a physical point of view, but I feel so much more confident in my own skin, you simply can't put a price on that.

Changing/showering facilities. They have a huge MMA fight training area with great equipment & facilities as well as a full time class timetable for all level athletes & with brilliant coaches. As soon as you walk in the door you’re greeted by friendly, welcoming & fun staff. The atmosphere is just what you need in a gym! Seriously recommend for anyone in the Rochdale area wether you’re a fighter, power lifter or cardio bunny.
