Fantastic experience: Karen is an excellent PT and taught me a wide range of lifts and exercises during four ‘learn to lift’ sessions at her home studio. I now have a tailored programme to follow myself and will definitely go back in future for top-up sessions when needed!
Fantastic experience: Karen is a great personal trainer. My daughter is a competitive gymnast recovering from an injury and trying to build her strength and conditioning. Karen has worked well with her as a teenager with good rapport and understanding of what she was trying to achieve. The work programme was structured to her needs as well as being open to suggestions about adjusting to different issues. Overall really pleased with her work and would recommend her.
Fantastic experience: Karen is amazing, inspirational and so supportive of your personal journey. I have gained muscles and strength , motivation and complete relaxation just by joining her classes. The group are so lovely and I love to hear their stories and life experiences as we torture ourselves (in a good way). Karen offers various levels of fitness so you can work at your own level ! But don’t be fooled she watches like a hawk and will push you, tell you to change techniques and adapt to suit your needs. Love her and finally love classes ❤️

Fantastic experience: We started sessions to improve my sons confidence as he wanted to improve his strength for football. 6 months later the full family goes routinely. Karen is great, she tailors the plan to each persons individual needs and makes sure that you get the most out of your workout. I would definately recommend Karen for any one. Karen tries to make the sessions as enjoyable as possible by mixing up the sessions and making you work different muscles, some of which I don't think I had before I started. Karen also tailors the sessions to individuals mobility, for instance I struggle with my knee and Karen makes sure I work the same muscle groups whilst not agrovating an old injury. Karen also gives us tips and tricks for rehabilitation of the injury or for stiffness etc... which helps with my mobility
Fantastic experience: Karen is a fantastic personal trainer (and I have had others before her). Prior to Karen, I had a PT for a specific goal - losing weight for my wedding - and as soon as that goal was in the past, I gave up quickly. Karen has made me want to put regular exercise into my weekly routine, and to maintain it. She has tailored the programme specifically for my needs, and has ensured that I am making progress and challenging myself without it being too brutal! I really feel like I am working effectively and enjoyably towards my goals - building strength and muscles, losing weight, toning etc - with clear and noticeable change and improvements. She gives all our sessions careful and considered advance thought and programming and is flexible where possible and endlessly patient with our needs and diaries! She is also very good humoured, and our sessions are always fun and motivating. Would highly, highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Karen. She is an excellent, motivating personal trainer. I am in my early 50s and wanted to improve my strength. Karen devised a varied weekly programme for me and has taken me from being a nervous nelly where weight training is concerned to someone who is more confident and looks forward to her weekly sessions! Fantastic experience: I've been training with Karen for the last year, which is testament to her greatness, as this is the longest I have ever consistently undertaken any exercise programme. She's really motivating and gives me the fear (in a good way) to want to do better. Her patience and humour is also valued. Karen is very knowledgeable and the insights into how and why and what we are doing are really helpful. I've gained muscles and strength I never knew I had. Totally recommend. Fantastic experience: My 16 year old Son has just joined the gym but was looking for some guidance on exercise. Isaac attended Karen’s learn to lift workshop where Karen wrote him a plan and explained which areas to work on together. Karen was very knowledgeable and informative making sure Isaac demonstrated good form and understanding. She also gave advice on logging reps and weights. Karen also provided some nutrition advice. Excellent service from Karen i would recommend the learn to lift workshop to any new or existing gym goers who need some expert advice. Thank you Karen

Fantastic experience: Great personal trainer! Been going to Karen for almost 8 months now and would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Can a Phoenix rise from the ashes? Ask Karen! An exercise-averse pensioner, at 68 I somehow started to get remarkably fit. But a few years later, all was lost after my mentor moved, then the long 2-3 years of covid lockdowns. Motivation extinct, I’d reverted to type. A valued friend pointed me towards Karen. But now in my mid-70s, am I really willing to trudge all the way back to the starting blocks and do again all the hard yards (miles, even!) to get anywhere near where I was? Daunted and intimidated I agreed to meet Karen. OMG, I liked her - a lot! Surprising myself, I signed up and started. The pathway back to fitness seemed not quite as overgrown as I feared, as Karen’s sharp ‘machete’ soon slashed through the tangly weeds. She carefully and supportively plans the way ahead with almost a ‘pastoral’ touch. It’s all graded to test and extend, pushing gently to the brink, but never over it. Thanks only to Karen, the Phoenix is beginning to arise...

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Flexion Fitness for over a year now and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone! Karen is well-informed and friendly, making you feel comfortable while pushing you to progress. She doesn’t force you to do anything you’re uncomfortable with, but she does encourage you to achieve personal bests and to challenge yourself! She changes up sessions to ensure that there is plenty of variety, so no session is ever boring. Thank you Karen!

Fantastic experience: Karen is knowledgeable, skilled and professional. She will consult with you beforehand to tailor an individualised programme both fitness and diet specifically tailored to your individualised goals. Karen always turns up ready and motivated. I have saw huge overall improvements in my overall fitness ability and I can't thank her enough for her patience and perseverance when I lacked it. Fantastic experience: Karen is a fantastic instructor, always positive and motivating even on days when you don't want to train. Karen is able to tailor your program to your needs and she helped me to continue training when experiencing back problems, during pregnancy and returning to exercise 7wks after having a baby. I have become fitter and stronger over the past 2 yrs.

Fantastic experience: This is the first time that I have used a personal trainer and I couldn't have picked a better one! Karen has a natural gift of encouraging you whilst pushing you that little bit further. I wanted to improve my stamina and fitness in order to keep up with my 3 teenage sons on an activity holiday. She prepared me well and even made me enjoy the process (don't tell her I said that!) Karen is a lovely person inside and out.

Fantastic experience: Amazing PT! Been going to Karen for over a year now and my fitness has improved a lot! I have a medical condition so I never know what my body will be able to cope with on the day but Karen never makes me do anything that I cant handle!

Fantastic experience: Caroline & I have just completed 10 buddy up sessions and have just signed up on a permanent basis as we're enjoying it so much! Karen is a great personal trainer focusing on each of us individually to achieve our goals. For me it's about toning, keeping fit and bone health. I've never done anything like this before and am now a convert. Karen is a warm friendly person who somehow manages to make this feel like fun! Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: I'd been thinking about needing to do some exercise for some time but have never had the willpower to do it for more than a couple of weeks, if that! I needed someone that would provide the right kind of workout for me and who would not only encourage me but also teach me how to do the exercises safely and correctly. Karen has been absolutely fantastic, I started one to one personal training sessions with her 9 weeks ago and the difference in my fitness level and shape is amazing. I never expected to achieve half of what I have and the credit for my success goes to Karen. My workouts with Karen have included cardio, HIIT, suspension training and kettlebells so there's plenty of variety and Karen has challenged and supported me every step of the way. She makes me work hard but has a natural knack of making each workout fun. I would, without hesitation, recommend Karen as a personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: My Partner and I have been going to Karen for personal training for the last 10 weeks or so. She has been a great personal trainer, very friendly, motivating and not at all intimidating which was great for us as we are not sporty types. We would have happily continued to see her for personal training but we are moving away from the area.

Fantastic experience: This is the first time I've ever tried a personal trainer and I can honestly say I've enjoyed it more than any gym session! The one to one environment ensures that it's tailored to your personal goals.... and good to know that the exercises are working the right bits! Karen makes you feel at ease and I'd definitely recommend it for anyone who is shy to go to the gym but would still love to exercise. I feel healthier and fitter in just a few weeks.... will definitely be carrying on.

Fantastic experience: Karen is friendly, fun and very supportive and her classes are addictive not just because you will see a difference in your fitness and self confidence bit because they are also fun. Fantastic experience: Karen is a great trainer and coach, both in 1-1 personal training and in group classes. She encourages and challenges in every session, in a supportive, fun way. Each workout builds on the last and stays interesting and motivating. I cant quite believe how much I'm able to achieve now from just 6 weeks training!

Fantastic experience: Karen led an amazing suspension fitness session in her gym, which was tailored for my level of fitness and knowledge, and I couldn't have been happier with the results, it was perfect for what I wanted and will allow me to train better and concentrate on the areas that I wanted. It was a brilliant lesson, I thoroughly recommend it for anyone who travels, or who wants to have a full body workout without needing lots of different equipment. I'll certainly be back for more lessons.
