Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to JTS on and off for about 12 years. Josh does an amazing job of combining a community feel with excellent and varied workouts. I’ve been going for some time and yet I am challenged each and every session. Josh has a really nice mix of regulars that go whilst seamlessly integrating new members both into the workouts but into the community. If you’re considering something like this, even if you feel you are currently on the lower level of the fitness scale, definitely give this a go, you will find results steadily but also make some good friends along the way.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending JTS for close to 10 years now and still look forward and enjoy each and every session .josh keeps the strength & conditioning training varied and extremely challenging and every session varies and is very well thought out . Josh is highly knowledgeable , professional and approachable and members have a laugh and stories before training!! However when training commences he ensures we give maximum effort and watches very closely checking we are all using correct form to prevent any injury and get the maximum benefits of training. 5 stars from me no hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with JTS for about six months, and it’s been an incredibly enjoyable experience from the start. Josh makes a point to welcome everyone, setting the tone for a genuinely positive vibe for the workout ahead. The community feel, combined with Josh’s friendly approach, makes it easy to feel welcomed and included. His routines are well-balanced, thoughtfully planned to target every area of your body, and perfect for anyone ready to commit. The whole experience leaves you feeling fantastic and proud of your progress. I’d recommend JTS to anyone prepared to take on a solid workout, regardless of shape, size, or fitness level. Five stars all the way — Merci Josh for creating such an amazing space!

Fantastic experience: Makes me actually enjoy exercising! Over the years I've been a member of quite a few gyms and boot camps, but I've never actually enjoyed working out until I joined JTS. I joined about 8 years ago. The boot camps are great for keeping fit and suitable for all fitness levels, you can go at your own pace but we're always encouraged to push ourselves. I started Xtras about 4 years ago, they are smaller groups, more strengh focused and great for building up muscle. On top of that, for the last 6 months I've been doing 1-1 PT sessions and I've noticed a massive improvement in my strength and technique. As a trainer Josh is great. He really knows his stuff and keeps us all motivated and the routines varied and fresh. He is very personable and we always have a good laugh. The camps are very friendly and I've made some good friends there.

Fantastic experience: JTS is my go-to place to keep fit. Josh, who runs the sessions, is a fantastic trainer—super personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and he knows how to make every workout different and fun while keeping it challenging. I trust Josh with my fitness and safety, he ensures we push ourselves but also keeps a close eye on our form to prevent injuries. The sessions are tough, no matter your experience level, but always rewarding. Josh has built a loyal community of bootcampers who are friendly, supportive, and non-judgmental. Fantastic experience: I have been a member at JTS for about 6 months now and I am absolutely loving it! Josh is the perfect coach and makes you feel motivated and confident in your fitness ability! I believe I have progressed massively whilst at JTS due to Josh’s well thought out, varied and challenging sessions whilst also making each workout enjoyable. The group we have at bootcamp is amazing and the perfect motivation needed for those early starts! I couldn’t recommend JTS enough and hope to be a member for many years to come!!

Fantastic experience: Having originally started out with Josh at JTS when he first opened his boot camps, I’m now back with him for PT sessions (despite living 45mins travel time away). Josh not only knows his stuff, but knows how to get the best out of you as an individual and through training. If you have a goal he will help you reach it I can’t recommend Josh more highly, both for boot camps but also as a personal trainer too.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Josh’s bootcamp for about 7 years. Having been to gyms for a long time before that, I can say that my fitness greatly improved at Josh’s sessions. The full body workouts are always different and the atmosphere is really friendly. It’s great to do these either just as a main workout or as a support for other sports like running. Definitely give it a try.

Fantastic experience: Sessions are addictive, challenging and exhilarating. Really well tailored outdoor workouts which improve strength, fitness and resilience. Josh encourages with kindness and humour (and music) and communicates as a PT to ensure perfect form and optimum training value to each member for each session. I come away from a 6.25 am session feeling accomplished and motivated. It's really hard work, but training with JTS brings me great rewards. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Josh's Boot Camp on and off for around ten years. The sessions are always varied, the fitter you get the harder you work ( that's a great aspect!). Above all, the class is friendly and inclusive, I'm no young skinny athlete and I feel right at home.

Fantastic experience: I joined JTS 6 years ago and it is by far the best boot camp and PT in the area. I was nervous when I first joined and Josh made me feel really welcome and at ease making sure that I was doing everything comfortably before I progressed . JTS is a welcoming and supportive environment, the workouts are intensive but everyone can tackle them at their own pace and there is a real mixture of fitness levels, everyone is so encouraging and supportive. JTS has changed my whole approach to working out, the outdoor sessions really work for me after working indoors all day and most of all Josh is an amazing trainer and allows you to reach your fitness goals in a professional, genuine and most importantly fun environment .

Fantastic experience: If you are thinking of joining a bootcamp then please get in touch with Josh as you will not find anyone better to help you on your fitness journey. His knowledge and expertise is second to none and he is able to offer fantastic advice and guidance throughout sessions. All sessions are extremely engaging, varied and above all else fun! I have been training with Josh for around 6 years and loved every minute.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at JTS Fitness for over 7 years now and despite being in my mid-40s, I can honestly say I have never been fitter. Whether you do bootcamp or PT, you can rest assured that Josh will deliver interesting and varied sessions. I love that I don't need to plan my own workouts, I just need to turn up and train. For me it is so much better than anything I had done previously. Gym work can easily become stale and progress can slow or halt. At JTS I feel like I am constantly improving. There is a good focus on correct form and Josh is very helpful in ensuring people are performing each exercise correctly, so that they get the most from it and reduce chances of injury. Joining somewhere like JTS can feel daunting, but the people here are very friendly, as is Josh, and there is a very supportive environment. I can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic experience: Josh is a great trainer and his bootcamps, Extras, PT sessions are always varied. Josh is committed to what he does and will always ensure your form is priority. Dare I say I’ve just turned 56 but I’ve never felt fitter …if your thinking of joining everyone in camp is friendly and will support you where they can

Fantastic experience: Josh runs an expertly-led bootcamp all year round, rain or shine! Every session is so carefully planned to ensure you challenge yourself the perfect amount every time. Strength training was never something I enjoyed but the way it's incorporated into these strength and cardio focused sessions, makes it varied, enjoyable and most importantly effective! The group setting and the encouragement from Josh brings the most out of you, and I can honestly say I've never felt the need to compare to others. Best exercise class/bootcamp around, hands down!

Fantastic experience: For someone who used to dislike group training, I can't rave about JTS enough. Even though you're in a group bootcamp, the focus is with you alone. Josh is personal, providing guidance and encouragement when it's needed, but also provides space to let you smash through the session at your own pace. I have 3 sessions a week and each one is different (mix of mornings and evenings), focusing on strength and bodyweight training with aerobic elements throughout to mix it up. I turned 40 last year and I've never felt fitter.

Fantastic experience: The most awesome trainer! 8th November 2025 I’ve been training with Josh at JTS Fitness for over 10 years, and I truly can’t imagine going anywhere else. He’s incredibly attentive, supportive, and he creates a real sense of community and belonging that keeps you motivated year after year. Josh is almost always in a great mood… unless he’s had way too much coffee and you don’t follow instructions well then you’ll definitely hear about it (in the funniest way possible). If you don’t listen and get it wrong, he’ll call you out, but it’s always with humor and in a way that makes you better. On a serious note, Josh absolutely knows what he’s doing. Every workout is thoughtfully planned, challenging, and effective. I never have to think about what to do. I just show up, trust the process, and I get a great workout every time. He makes getting fit and staying fit truly possible. If you want a trainer who cares, who pays attention, who builds community, and who keeps you accountable in all the best ways, Josh is your guy. Fantastic experience: I’ve been at JTS for over 8 years, I can honestly say Josh’s training sessions are intense, but fun, and always varied! He will never push you too hard, but just enough to get that extra rep he knows you’re capable of, he always takes the time to understand your capabilities and weaknesses. Josh has built a VERY friendly team of like minded people who make me actually want to train. I highly recommend anyone checking this Bootcamp out.
