Fantastic experience: The best gym for families and busy parents who want to get great experience, PTs will do useful induction to help you get started. Amazing childcare is available 10-12 daily and children could use the “soft gym” all day .

Fantastic experience: I dont know why i hadnt heard about Smart gym before but this has been a great gym for me - friendly gym atmosphere but most important for me the fact it is child friendly and offers a supervised creche. This has been amazing for me that usually struggles to get to the gym for childcare, also means my daughter can socialise with other children and spend some time away from me. Elizabeth is amazing with the kids but even still having cctv cameras we can watch while in the gym is a great touch to. I tell everyone about this and so many mums i know would love this opportunity if space opens up for members to join.

Fantastic experience: Great place to workout, good for the kids to get involved with fitness and also has a place for the kids to play while parents do a workout, loads of support from the staff and the other members, great little gym, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is a terrific gym which is near where I live, so it's convenient for me. It's not the biggest gym, but I feel comfortable with the size and equipment. Many gyms seem to be aimed solely at body building! Smart Gym has everything I need to keep fit - treadmills, bikes, elliptical trainers, weights, floor mats, strength conditioning machines. It's aimed at families too, so parents can bring their children...so no childcare costs. Small children can use the free creche, whilst older children can use the machines with supervision. It's sends a very important message to youngsters that it can be fun to exercise. There is also a weekly yoga class at no extra charges! I would highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Smart gym glasgow is fantastic! It really helped me after giving birth by offering the facilities and being able to bring children. Its not pretentious in any way and being a post-partum unfit and overweight mother I felt comfortable in my own skin doing my own thing and attending post natal classes with my child right beside me the while time. Its a fantastic facility and I could not recommend it more

Fantastic experience: What an amazing place! If only this operated in Australia! A wonderful concept where parents can train (with their kids if they like), or leave the very little ones in their crèche which has some Supervised hours. Kids can also use this toy room at other times. They have really gone all out to support families with appropriate developmental toys, a bathroom stocked for babies and parents. There’s a kitchen to grab a tea or coffee and sit and consume it there. The gym has brand new top quality equipment with treadmills, climbers, ski machines, bikes and plenty of hand weights. Entry can be unlocked via the phone. Honestly I am so grateful to have been allowed a trial here. If I lived in Scotland, I would 100 % be a member. Definitely join!

Fantastic experience: I've been looking for a good gym for a while now, something that suits me as a busy working mum of 2 young children and I've found that in Smart Gym! It's local, friendly with classes included and for me, most importantly a crèche! My children love being active and I want to instill healthy habits in them and having then with me while I work out does just that. The gym is smaller than others I have been to in the past, but it honestly has everything you need for a great work out. I also think with it being a little smaller, it's less intimidating - there's a real community feel to the place and I love it. I really like the break out area, ideal for a quick catch up after your session or to feed the kids (again! ) Highly recommend, check them out.

Fantastic experience: Small family gym that has everything you need including child care. Can book out the weight area, which is good. Also the crèche is ideal - even better that it's supervised for a couple of hours a day. My 2 year old loves it!

Fantastic experience: This gym truly changed my life. At a time when my mental health was at an all-time low, walking through the doors of this gym was the turning point I didn’t know I needed. I was honestly intimidated to start going to a gym, but this place is different — it’s welcoming, supportive, and family-oriented. From day one, I felt like I belonged. The environment here is so friendly, and I’ve met people who have become lifelong friends. The encouragement and support from both staff and members helped me push past my fears and actually enjoy working out — something I never thought I’d say. This isn’t just a gym. It’s a community. And for me, it’s been a lifesaver.

Fantastic experience: Great wee gym. Not your typical gym and not big, but it's super family friendly and you can bring kids along to either play in the play area or join in with you while you work out. Brilliant wee place.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing and a game changer. Having two small kids, it has been really difficult to get back into a fitness routine and make the commitment to go to the gym. However, the smart gym has given me the opportunity to take care of myself and bring the kids along for the ride .Since joining under a year ago, my kids and myself are regular visitors to the gym each week and I have found a vast improvement in my health and generally productivity. The creche staff are wonderful and it's great that you can have the hour to workout, knowing your child is in safe hands and having fun. Would highly recommend this place to anyone

Fantastic experience: This gym is exactly what I have been looking for. Kids have a crèche which they can play in, and it’s supervised. It also provides a high chair if you bring along little one and they need fed! The first day you get an induction and then a fitness plan. If you haven’t been to the gym , Dean showed us how to use the equipment. The best thing is it’s spotless!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Smart Gym, starting here was the best decision we made. Our girls are 2 and 4.5 and love come down to the crèche, mixing with other children and playing with the range of toys. My partner and I like that it isn’t an intimidating gym, everyone is very friendly. There is a great range of classes as well as machines and weights, definitely something for everyone. Staff are welcoming and very helpful, and the facilities are well kept.

Fantastic experience: This gym has seriously changed my life! I can take my 2 x young children along with me and trust that they’re in safe hands, having fun in the crèche next door while I work out. The staff are so friendly & helpful. The gym doesn’t feel intimidating like others I’ve joined in the past. You can even book the private weights area for an hour. Super affordable and you also get FREE tea, coffee and water included! The coffee is amazing btw :)

(There is even free tea/coffee available in the relaxing chill out zone) The owner Dean is a gentleman,always available to listen & assist with any questions you may have as a valued member of Smartgym. Please don't hesitate to join this gem of a gym...you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Cracking little gym. Plenty of equipment but free weights is slightly limited due to space but if you know what you are doing then no issues at all. Classes are excellent and really put through your paces, has a really good community feel as well.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym and such good value. Very family oriented with memberships to cover your needs. The biggest appeal to me is the kids area that is supervised for a few hours every day so you can work out while your younger children play. My baby was nervous whenever she couldn’t see me but I could take her next to me in the pram at first and everyone who works there have been brilliant with her, so patient and reassuring that she loves playing in the kids area now. Classes are included in membership too and Jennifer who runs one of them has taught me so much which has really helped me keep my enthusiasm for going regularly! The gym has everything you could need while also not being big and intimidating as gyms can sometimes be. All other members there are friendly and there is a lovely community feel to going there. The gym is always clean and well kept with complimentary coffee and water. Free parking right outside too. Honestly couldn’t ask for more.

Fantastic experience: I started using this gym for a zumba class, I was nervous at first but the instructor debbie is amazing she’s so welcoming and makes sure you enjoy yourself! the gym itself as well is great it’s not like the bigger ones where I feel self conscious about working out, it’s great because it has a crèche makes it great for families and mums! i’ll definitely keep going

Fantastic experience: Lovely gym for all the family. All the staff are very knowledgeable about the equipment and exercises to do on them. Love the fact there is a crèche onsite. My little one loves it. Makes exercising very easy when you don't need to worry about childcare. I'd recommend the gym to everyone.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing the staff are amazing and do everything to help you, I want in a good place till I walked into smart gym just to see what it was like ms met Dean and he was really friendly and really nice helped me a lot got me joined and it has helped me so so much especially with my mental health also he’s helped with other things giving me all the tools not just for smart gym but putting me intouch with other people that help me with other things I couldn’t recommend this smart gym enough best thing I ever did last summer when I actually had an appointment next door was walk In to smart gym to enquire about joining! They are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond just a gym

Fantastic experience: A child friendly gym, or crèche (soft play area), seating and kitchen area, toilet and shower facilities and also plenty for the adults to do as well. A massive thanks to Dean, who inducted us and spent a good 45 minutes to an hour with Lewis including some sparring. £41 a month for me, Jenn Bryers and the three boys is an absolute steal in this day and age. Everyone get on board!

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with super friendly staff. A relaxed family friendly area to workout . The one gym where you don’t have to worry about childcare for your little one which really helped my motivation to get back into fitness and keeping healthy. Would especially recommend for parents with kids to use the creche facilities or just to work out with you otherwise you can use the facilities from morning till late evening whenever suits you to workout !

Fantastic experience: Great gym for families and individuals- The creche facility is brilliant and it is very affordable. Great that kids see their parent/carer working out and taking care of themselves. Has an area for a break or having a tea or coffee. Showers, toilets and a great sound system - what's not to like! Gyms like this should be everywhere would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Joining the gym was definitely one of the best things I could have done, available times suit myself as have a young daughter who can come with me and lets me work out knowing she’s safe. Has the advantage of a homely and welcoming environment with the time who are always happy to help.

Fantastic experience: I'd been attending Smart Gym for a while and stopped for a a few months until Dean who works there got me back in and gave me plenty of support and as a parent it's amazing being able to bring the kids into the play area and be able to focus on helping myself physically and mentally! I highly reccomend this gym as it has great staff, machines/equipment all for a great price.

Fantastic experience: Been a member of smart gym for around 6 months and couldn’t be happier with the service provided. I am a mum to two children and it allows me to have some ‘me’ time to work on myself, whilst giving me peace of mind that the kids are in a safe and friendly environment. The equipment and the gym overall is immaculately kept, well cleaned and there is also refreshments available to all members(water, tea, coffee). I find the that smartgym has benefited my children a lot in the short space of time I have been a member and it continues to promote healthy living. I would highly recommend smartgym to anyone looking to incorporate health/fitness in to their lifestyle. This is not just a gym for mums/dads but also anyone who prefers a more small community focused environment. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and other members are always more than happy to chat and make friends. I understand that gyms can often feel intimidating and judgemental, especially if you are new to working out, however I have always been made to feel very welcome on every visit at smartgym. Big thumbs up 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym! Staff are absolutely lovely & are always happy to help. When I first joined I was shown around & I was shown how to use the equipment properly & any questions I had where answered. Highly recommended this gym to anyone! Prices are incredible & the fact that there is a soft play area for children as well is very handy as it means you are able to work around having kids

Fantastic experience: Started gym about three weeks ago after having a really bad year last year lossing my mum and dad and then my daughters dissided they would travel the world . So I felted a bit lost in my self I can’t say enough about the gym as from meeting dean on the desk to the rocko the personal trainer this gym just made me feel welcome from day one .You can be having a bad day and go down there and they may you welcome with a smile and chat . I have tried a lot of gyms but never liked them until now this gym is full of normal people of all sizes and ages . Don’t get me wrong I still have bad days but they are getting less now I get myself up and look forward to going to the gym thought I would never come to that but I can’t say enough Thankyou to dean and all the team for given me something to look forward too x

Fantastic experience: Absolutely delighted to find a facility like this available as a mum with no childcare options. Friendly knowledgeable staff who are always available for help and advice. My son loves the crèche, amazing to know he’s safe and having fun while I work out. Also being able to see him on camera is a bonus. Amazing range of equipment which is well maintained and clean, along with a great variation of classes for all abilities available to view on an easy to manage app. Can’t rate or thank smart gym enough to empower parents and carers the ability to have access to a gym without having to worry about childcare. Great price and free parking is a massive bonus.

Fantastic experience: Been a member of a few gyms in my time and as things change in your life such as your family growing you begin to look for activites that you can do as a family. Smart Gym is one of those places not only because it's well equipped with all that you need for a great workout session, classes to suit family needs, supervised child play area, an amazing team but also it has a great comfortable environment that does not place pressure on people like me that are very self conscious and have found the thought of going to the gym a step too far. I can't recommend Smart Gym highly enough.

All staff are amazing and so welcoming you feel like you are at home. The classes are great and are adaptable, and you have the gym.
