Fantastic experience: The classes with coach Dan are good fun and a great way to push and challenge yourself in a friendly, supportive environment. I don't have a lot of boxing or sparring experience but Dan was great at giving clear instructions and helping me along the way. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic experience: The Best Gym in the world without question!! I started training with Dan around a year ago and honestly was incredibly skeptical to start boxing especially with no prior experience and the stereotypical image of boxing clubs in my mind. I could not have been more wrong. Dan's the nicest, most supportive and accommodating individual I have ever met and has really enhanced my physical ability as well as my personal confidence and wellbeing soo much soo infact shortly after joining I started bring my 14 year old sister! This gym facilitates for any ages and ability and I would strongly recommend for anyone to come along. Dan's club has really changed my life for the better and formed a fantastic community of people irrespective of age, ethnicity and and ability where everyone can enjoy fitness in a wonderful safe environment.
Fantastic experience: Always made to feel welcome at coach Dan's gym, killer warm ups , great technique methods with some decent tunes to sweat it out to. Grat for relieving stress , getting fit and learning a sport. And the sparring sessions on weds is fun and in my opinion the better day to train what you have learned.
Fantastic experience: Having said for a while that I’d give boxing a go, I finally took the plunge! Dan makes the environment so welcoming and easy going with no expectations. He is so enthusiastic yet patient and I think everyone needs a bit of that!! Definitely would recommend!
Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Dan enough. His sessions are so relaxed and welcoming. He has managed to make me enjoy a sport that I have never showed interest in before and has helped me massively with my fitness - all whilst in the most comfortable environment. Definitely worth a try and i guarantee you will leave feeling better!
Fantastic experience: I went to my first session recently after meaning to for a while - and it was fantastic. It is a very friendly, welcoming and inclusive space and Coach Dan's enthusiasm rubs off on the group - everything is at your own pace you are welcome to adapt the exercises to your body, and it was great fun and a laugh. The kit is excellent and clean and the session is in a spirit where you don't feel self-conscious. Well worth checking out and very inclusive. Looking forward to going every week
Fantastic experience: A really good and friendly coach with a lot of knowledge and experience. I've just started out in boxing and he's helped me so much to develop myself. No two training sessions are the same with Coach Dan, meaning that they're always exciting and that you're constantly learning. Could not recommend his classes enough.

Fantastic experience: I main thing I can’t stress enough is I leave every session with a smile on my face! Dan can truly put you through your paces but make it so enjoyable you don’t want it to end! Fantastic experience: I had my first session with coach Dan recently and he’s a brilliant coach, he’s so motivating through it all and makes you want to do it. He doesn’t expect any more than your best and if something isn’t working for you he will absolutely change it to fit your needs. I’ve been to a few boxing gyms and none of them come close to Dan

Fantastic experience: I was never keen on exercise sessions or training(I always had an excuse for why I couldn’t go), however thanks to Dan this outlook has changed. I started with group circuits and then moved to 121 boxing. Every session is different, we laugh ALOT, my confidence has grown as has my strength. The sessions aren’t just about improving my fitness/strength/coordination as we also talk about things that are going on in my life, interviews etc so I actually feel like I have my own mindset coach to! No matter your ability Dan will be able to tailor which ever training activity you choose to do to YOU!

Fantastic experience: We approached Dan in the summer, hoping he could provide our women’s cricket team with a weekly group session. We wanted to improve our skills, recognising that we needed to target specific areas. Dan identified these key skills areas and produced a programme designed to build on our fitness and improve our strength. That’s the theory of it, anyway. In practice, a group of us turn up every Sunday morning for our fun exercise class! Usually we follow a circuits set up, knowing how each exercise is helping us to improve. We work at our own pace or, for the more competitive amongst us, against a team mate! On a few Sundays, the exercise session has been followed by a match. When this has been the case, Dan has changed the programme to allowing us to gently warm up and stretch our muscles, ready for the game. Not only that, he prepares us mentally too, with tips for positive thinking and getting into the right frame of mind. I didn’t know Dan before starting to attend the sessions. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending his classes to anyone who wants to learn how to exercise properly, both physically and mentally.He listens, is encouraging, easy-going and motivating. One of the best things I’ve done this summer!
Fantastic experience: I attended a few of the group sessions which were amazing. Dan is very upbeat and motivational so I decided to do 121 with him, he tailors everything to you and what you want to achieve and focuses on a positive mindset which really helps to motivate you! I would absolutely recommend, some super hard work but I can tell it’s going to give me the goals I want to achieve!
Fantastic experience: I regularly go to Coach Dan's circuits class and they're awesome! Class is always fun and varied, with the right mix of being super supportive but encouraging you to dig deep and bring out your best, highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: Dan is great at creating fitness programmes that suit what you are interested in and that will motivate you. He will research any idea you will have and add depth and quality from his own knowledge to the instruction. His one to one session are very well structured to be both challenging and engaging. Dan has got the great balance of being professional and personable which not many pts have that ability. I have only been working with Dan for 4 months and I feel very capable at boxing and weight training, already my 1 rep max deadlift is 165kg and until working with Dan I had never done this type of exercise. Not bad for a 34 year old out of shape teacher with a toddler to achieve in a short time period. I really can not recommend Dan highly enough. Great bloke!!
Fantastic experience: I first came across Coach Dan through some online fitness sessions he gave during lockdown which helped me get out of the lockdown slump! I now attend his morning group circuit sessions which are a superb way to start the day. Dan's a really motivating coach and I'm planning on taking some more of his classes now I'm even fitter! Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to as many of Dan’s sessions as I can get to since lockdown was relaxed enough for us to do outdoor sessions. Dan makes all classes really friendly and supportive, no matter what level you’re at. Great with kids and adults alike, wether you are competitive or just want to get a bit fitter he’ll help you meet your goals and feel confident doing so. Dan has also been running sessions for local home education groups, and the kids (mine included) and parents love him. He’s fun, supportive and incredibly patient with our crazy mix of kids! I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Everything is done and aimed towards any specific goals you have in mind, Dan does all the training in a way that is really positive and motivating and ultimately every session is great fun at the same time as producing great results! I cant recommend training with Dan enough!
Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dan enough, he has found the perfect balance of providing friendly motivation and a professional working environment. I felt comfortable immediately in my first session and continued to go back after. I have attended both 121 sessions with Dan and group classes! Both are beneficial and you feel you have achieved a massive amount when leaving either session. Classes are a great place to meet some new friends as Dan provides such a lovely environment! All guidelines in the current climate are met and he manages to put you at ease from any worries. Worth the money, you will achieve your goals with Dan!
Fantastic experience: Dan is a first class PT. He is very professional but yet personable too. Fantastic at motivating and very supportive. After an initial consultation, he really understood my goals and sets a weekly plan (in the gym and home workout), tailoring every session to help me achieve them. He makes every session challenging, never letting me give up and always pushing me to my max. No two sessions are the same, so I never get bored. I have been training 121 with Dan for 2 months now and my personal goal of achieving 5 press-ups (no upper body strength) has now turned into being able to smash out 35!! And that's because of his amazing training and support. Thanks Dan. I cannot recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Dan is very professional and takes on board your preferences for fitness. After a consultation to discuss my goals I attend 121 fitness training, the sessions are challenging but fun and after a few weeks I already felt a lot fitter. Dan is a good communicator and flexible, highly recommend!
