Fantastic experience: Great Customer Service—Issue Quickly Resolved I recently signed up for a gym membership online because the gym looked fantastic and I was really looking forward to joining. Unfortunately, due to a discrepancy, I wasn’t able to use the gym as planned. However, I reached out to Gavin from the team, and he was extremely understanding and supportive throughout the process. He handled my concerns quickly and professionally, and I received a full refund without any hassle. Although I didn’t get to experience the gym itself, I was really impressed with the level of customer service and fairness shown. Thanks again to Gavin and the team for resolving everything so efficiently!

Fantastic experience: Great gym. I used RBF in 2022 and had been waiting to get out of a gym contract in another town to sign up here again!! Gavin and Katie are amazing, so friendly and helpful, the gym has all the equipment I need and is used by such a variety of local people. It's easy to get a day pass and it's open 24 hours which is so useful. There are clean shower facilities and a vending machine, there are no lockers but this has never been an issue for me, just something to bear in mind. I can't recommend this gym enough.

Positive experience: Visit the gym for a one off session whilst staying in Rye. It's a nice gym with friendly members and decent equipment. Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: I’m staying in Rye for a month and needed to find a gym and was lucky enough to come across Rye Bay Gym. I cannot recommend it more highly! Gavin could not have been more helpful, kind or encouraging! The gym has everything you could need and runs fantastic classes as well. AND Gavin has THE most gorgeous dog. Best possible find. Fantastic experience: A great gym. I was on holiday in Camber and didn’t want to miss the gym so bought a week pass and wasn’t disappointed. Friendly owner and members, very welcoming and great facilities. If I didn’t live five hours away I’d definitely be joining.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently joined RBF and I love it! The atmosphere is great, it’s well equipped and everyone is so friendly. I love the fact I can do classes, weights, machines, tyres and battle ropes all in the same space - and even better is that I have complete access whenever I want to train. It’s a great space and I would recommend coming and giving it a try

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Rye Bay Fitness for a while now and it's a fantastic gym. The classes are incredibly good value within the membership, and I can highly recommend the Spin and HIT classes. It's well maintained, clean, everyone is really friendly - it's a great community of people.

Fantastic experience: Rye Bay Fitness is a great gym with a tremendous atmosphere and more than that it's owned by one of the best personal trainers in the area – and I should know I've tried a fair few! Gavin is great at motivating me and knows exactly the buttons to press to get me to do those few extra reps or those extra few steps. I know well that gyms can sometimes be intimidating but Rye Bay Fitness is very far from being that!

A great range of equipment and classes, a friendly and helpful atmosphere with both Gavin and Kate offering support, encouragement and advice. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough about Rye Bay Fitness. I really like how it is open 24/7 so I can go at whatever time suits me. Also I like how there is an upstairs and down stairs - separating the cardio and weights sections. I like how I can go at my own pace with no pressure. Gavin and Kate are always so friendly and encouraging - they are always there if you need help or advice. I have lost a lot of weight in the last year but since joining the gym last July/Aug I have lost over 6 stone, so I would recommend Rye Bay Fitness to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Staying down in Camber for the weekend, so a one-off visit. Fantastic gym, really well equipped (including hex bar, curl bar, bench press station, squat rack, etc, etc) and has a really great vibe. Regular members were super-friendly and helpful. Super comms with the owner.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, clean and well equipped gym. Classes included within your membership, of which there are many. The owner is exceptionally helpful with advice and guidance. Open 24/7 and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: - Fantastic gym with a friendly atmosphere. - It's always tidy, and its easy to find and use equipment (even during busier periods). - Checking in and out is easy and efficient via the app -Open 24/7 - Parking available - Toilets and changing rooms are clean to a high standard As someone who was just down for the week, it was a nice surprise when Gavin introduced himself and checked how I was doing with everything! Not something you often get at commercial gyms. Definitely will be visiting again when I am next in the area. :)

Fantastic experience: Great local gym. Lovely encouraging people. Owners, who are always around, and regulars are super friendly. A welcome change from bland gym chains. Clean and well maintained with lots of extra kit you wouldn’t get elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I have been a member of. Good range of machines, kettlebells, dumbbells and some bits I have never seen before including some strong man equipment! I have never found it too busy either and can always get a free squat rack. By far the best thing about this gym though is the community. Gav is a lovely owner who goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and Katie runs some brutal HIIT classes if you’re up for the challenge!! Met some great people and of course this gym would not be complete without Nala the gym dog 10/10 would recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I came here to start my fitness journey, after years of not being able to walk into a gym because I felt so anxious. The great thing about RBF is that its 24/7 and slightly out the way so its never too busy and never too quiet. I started going late at night and as I got more confident and experience I was able to walk in peak times with no anxiety which was a huge achievement for me! Gavin was so supportive, whenever I needed help he would respond immediately and very kindly gave me a spot at times as well. I also live all the way in bexhill and it was well worth the drive and distance, I looked so forward to my gym sessions! Highly recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: I wish I had discovered this gym sooner. The facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. Gavin and Kate are knowledgeable and very friendly as well as a great resource for fitness inspiration. Overall a great facility at very reasonable prices.

Fantastic experience: Loads of space and equipment and really nice, down to earth people who are focused on a good workout. Gavin also really helpful (out of hours) to get set up with the door code. Would definitely recommend as both a long term gym or if you are visiting Rye on a holiday.

Fantastic experience: I really love this gym. It’s got everything you need to focus on a good workout. It’s spacious, well-equipped and I love that I can come whenever I want. In terms of equipment it’s up there with some of the best gyms I’ve been to. Gav is super friendly and he’ll make you feel like a welcome part of the club which is great if you’re a new local like me and don’t know too many people here yet or if you’re just a bit nervous about gyms.

Fantastic experience: Great gym in Rye. The owner Gav is super friendly & welcoming to his space. Well equipped for a solid weights work out including heavy dumb bells up to 60kg. Well organised and clean. 24/7 access is excellent also. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Awesome local gym and a godsend to be 24 hour! Everything you need is there and also have the freedom to throw your own music on and workout to what you like! Gav is a great bloke and will help you with whatever you need to settle in. 11/10 would recommend and have recommended to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Booked a weeks access while on holiday, loved the machines, they're so smooth and not like the cheap machines in the local big chains! Access was easy and recieved an email from management to check on us so there is a nice personal touch too!

Fantastic experience: I was on holiday for a week so I was able to get a week's pass. Have to say they are really helpful and the gym is brilliant. Trained everyday using the sled, tyre flipping, sledge hammers, battle ropes circuits and free weights. Shame we haven't got equipment like this back at home..

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, clean & friendly. This well run gym was a great addition to our summer holiday in Rye. They do a good value weekly membership which was perfect for our needs and you still had access to the gym 24/7.Gavin was helpful and answered my queries quickly. Great for locals but equally as welcoming for us visitors. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area or locals wanting to join a gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, we were down from london for a week and luckily picked this gym. Clean, well set out and all the equipment you need for proper training . Fantastic experience: It's supremely organised post Lockdown and just about as friendly a place as you can get for a gym. It's small but has everything you need, bit of a find actually!

Fantastic experience: This is a lovely friendly gym with a great mix of classes and a good bunch of people - whatever your goals, you can work on them here - classes range from the challenging but fun Legs, Bums & Tums and Circuit Training which Gavin leads superbly, to the equally fun and challenging Cardio Combat and Zumba and fabulous Yoga practices - all classes are open to non-members too and Gavin offers excellent 1:1 sessions. It's a great space, open 24/7, easy parking, welcoming and full of support.

Fantastic experience: As a female, gyms can be quite intimidating but Rye Bay Fitness is so welcoming and friendly down to every member you come into contact with. There is so much support towards achieving your goals whether you choose the group classes, PT sessions with Gav or even just a friendly chat down on the floor. AND its 24/7 access with free parking!

This gym and its owner are lovely, so welcoming, and this filters down to all the other members I have met, I actually want to go to the gym! Its clean and spacious and the classes are varied and again welcoming.
