Fantastic experience: I have been attending The Rack on a Saturday morning for conditioning classes and I am so glad I have found Nikki and Chris! They both had made me feel so welcome to every class, so much so I feel like I have been going for years! The support and encouragement they both provide at each class gives me the motivation and encouragement to keep going! Classes like conditioning are very new to me but with the team it has been made fun and enjoyable to attend ⭐

Fantastic experience: My friend had been going to The Rack for over a year before I joined, so I knew that if she had remained committed for that long, they must be good. I can't recomend The Rack highly enough! Unlike other gyms which are big and impersonal, this one feels genuinely welcoming and intimate. It’s run by Nikki and Chris who put so much care into everything they do, and you feel that warmth and energy the minute you walk through the door. The classes are small (no more than 8 people), which makes the whole experience feel almost like one-to-one coaching. The focus is on strength training, but in a way that feels approachable and supportive, never intimidating. Nikki and Chris really get to know you, your strengths, and where you need encouragement, and they’re always there to cheer you on. What I love most is that everyone in the class supports each other, and there’s a friendly, community feel. There are plenty of breaks between exercises, so you never feel overwhelmed, just re-energised (usually lol) and ready for the next set. It’s not like any other gym I’ve ever been to. Here, you feel seen, supported, and genuinely part of something. If you’ve ever felt nervous about joining a gym, this is the perfect place to start. It’s welcoming, uplifting, and you’ll leave every session feeling stronger in every sense of the word.
Fantastic experience: Nikki and Chris are amazing, not only have they had me feel included in the group - they go out of their way to support and encourage you. They have also helped massively in my health journey. Can’t recommend the Rack enough!!
Fantastic experience: I joined the rack through their transform package and it has been excellent. Both Nikki & Chris are excellent in all sessions, very knowledgeable and friendly and I have learned so much from them, not only have they allowed me to loose weight and transform, but they have taught me how to make lifestyle changes to keep forever. Nikki has also been excellent with the online side of the coaching and weekly check ins, again Nikki is very knowledgeable and there is no stupid question to ask her and I always get an educational answer which helps me understand better and take everything on board. Not only are Nikki & Chris very welcoming to the rack but everyone that is part of the rack is very friendly, welcoming and supportive!
Fantastic experience: From my trial session, I knew these two were the trainers for me. They listen to my feedback about how my body is responding to the exercise and are great at tweaking exercises to suit my ability. But, they are also good at motivating me and pushing me when they know I have more to give. Their observations are spot on, and I now know there are some movements I've been doing wrong for years. Also, they make the exercises you do not like or want to do, more accessible and above all, more fun! Thank you Nikki and Chris.
Fantastic experience: Back home in Glasgow for a family stint and discovered the Rack gym to continue my exercise programme whilst away. Coming from a mega gym chain I’m over the moon with the crafted dietary /fitness programme, personal touch and ongoing support. 10/10 for my needs and a venue that I thoroughly recommend - great facilities & super-friendly instructors.
Fantastic experience: I trained with Chris previously and signed up again for a 12 week online programme in the run up to my wedding. Both Chris and Nikki are fantastic coaches. Chris consistently provided the best support, individualised to suit my needs (including a tight timescale then a switch to maintenance when I achieved my goal!) and gave encouragement every step of the way. The support for the switch to maintenance after being in a deficit was really valuable. The education and advice given on the “why” behind making changes means they see it as a success when their clients are able to finish up and train on their own to continue or maintain progress made. I would recommend to anyone ❤️
Fantastic experience: I've been attending the group PT class with Chris and Nikki, and it's been an amazing experience. They both bring great energy, support, and knowledge to every session. The workouts are always varied, challenging, and fun, and they offer plenty of helpful tips and advice to make sure you're getting the most out of each session. As part of the fee, they also sign you up for an app that helps you track your progress, which adds even more value and accountability. It's a really encouraging and inclusive environment, and I've seen great results since starting. Best of all, it's fantastic value for money—high-quality training at an affordable price. I can't recommend it enough
Fantastic experience: Nikki and Chris are legends. Im not body confident and had reservations about going to a gymn of any kind. However i am so glad i did! I wanted to gain strength and get fitter and after the first few weeks my attitude to gymns has changed. Quite look forward to my sessions with these guys. Fantastic experience: This is such a great place! Nikki and Chris have built such a friendly, welcoming community and you can tell they genuinely care about everyone who walks through the door. The classes are always varied and fun—I’ve done many instructor-led classes elsewhere, but these guys really do it so well. They don’t just tell you what the workout is and leave, they stay the whole session, motivating you and making sure your form is on point. I usually go for the strength and conditioning classes, which are always great, but lately I’ve been doing the Hyrox doubles prep sessions with my sister and they’ve been next level! They have all the right equipment, and since Chris and Nikki have done Hyrox themselves, their tips and techniques are super helpful. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. Highly recommend this place—amazing gym and even better people.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend The Rack highly enough. Nikki as a P.T has a great way of pushing me beyond what I ever thought I was capable of without me even realising it. She has built my confidence so much and is always on hand for help and support whenever I need it. Everytime I walk in the gym I’m met with a smile and the most warm welcome. The Gym itself kept immaculate thanks to the hard work of Nikki and Chris. As someone who struggled with the typical gym environment The Rack has been perfect for me. Theres the option of small group sessions which look great and theres the P.T options. When I’m doing my sessions with Nikki its just me and her in the gym which is brilliant. We always end up chatting and theres always something to laugh about during our training session. As theres nobody else there then theres no distractions, no wait for equipment and I never feel self conscious. Booking was so straightforward, i got in contact with The Rack and had a reply really quickly, I opted to go down and visit the gym and meet Nikki before signing up. Once I made the decision Nikki sent me through all I needed to get me started and that was it. I’ve never looked back!

Her support is unmatched and by working together, I have made significant and consistent progress on my health and fitness journey. Despite working with Nikki remotely, she is always available for a check in, a question, or just a chat. Fantastic experience: I recently started Conditioning @ The Rack on a Saturday (around the end of July). It has been a brilliant wake up call! The Owners Nikki and Chris have been fantastic PT's, clear instructions, excellent subject knowledge, motivational as well as friendly and approachable. If you think this will be a walk in the park please think again. The circuit training is a big hit to your body as well as your ego, as it slowly zaps your energy and very quickly shows you how far you may have let yourself go, just like me. However, with consistant weeks, now at the start of September, I genuinely have noticed a massive difference in my energy levels as well as a shrinking wardrobe of clothes that fit! This is a good thing. They have excellent facilities and plenty of free parking with a wide range machines, racks and free weights. Some of my personal favourites being the rowing machine, the tank and my personal favourite (read sarcasm) the Assault bike! All these machines and more are designed to break you down and hopefully build you up better and stronger! If you have an urge to improve yourself, I recommend looking them up. They offer online, one to one tuition and the Saturday group conditioning and stretching classes (suffer with other like minded individuals!)
Fantastic experience: I am building detailed subject knowledge and body strength working with Nikki and Chris at the Rack. Group coaching sessions are supportive and the atmosphere is so light hearted. You can always have a laugh! My third week in, I unfortunately needed unexpected surgery. Nikki has been incredibly understanding, flexible and patient as I recovered and has eased me back in whilst still pushing me at a good rate to achieve my best. Nikki and Chris have consistently prioritised my well being and have tracked my progress. I am so excited to see where this journey takes me as I continue gain confidence and improve the overall quality of my life ❤️ Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had always been relatively fit, but felt I'd lost a lot of strength during COVID. I started taking classes at the Rack on the recommendation of two existing devotees and am really enjoying it. Chris's enthusiastic encouragement makes me get the most out of myself and I always leave feeling like I've achieved something and with a smile on my face. I have used gyms before but I am getting so much more out of The Rack due to a personalised approach and the right kind of support from real experts.
Fantastic experience: Starting going to the conditioning class on a Saturday and loved it! Nikki and Chris are fantastic coaches , so encouraging and knowledgable about their passion . Haven't felt this good about my fitness in years and that's all down to their help and guidance . Would encourage anyone any level of fitness to try it, I am 100% you will not regret it !
Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to the morning class 3 times a week for 3 months now and I think it’s the best gym group I’ve been to. I’m a long time gym lover and think coming here has improved my results. I like the way the workouts are structured and Nicki & Chris are great at encouraging you to push yourself without being too heavy handed. I had fallen away from going to the gym regularly for a couple of months at the beginning of the year and coming to the rack has added a fun social aspect that helps me be consistent with my workouts. I’ve also enjoyed the group activities which so far have included paddle boarding up on Loch Lomond and now group training for the great Scottish run. This place is fab! Totally recommend it!!
Fantastic experience: Chris and Nikki are great. I’ve been working with Chris as a PT and he knows his stuff - quite literally an expert at what he does. He’s also able to change things up - and work with me on a previous back injury. Nikki is also great - I’ve worked with her in group sessions. There is such a nice atmosphere where everyone talks to each other in between sets - the time flies by because there is such good humour in the room. If you’re looking to get fitter, healthier and learn more I can’t recommend this gym enough. They are genuinely nice people too!
Fantastic experience: I Have been at the rack almost a year, and I absolutely love it! Nikki & Chris have completely changed my look on life, I am the healthiest and fittest I have ever been and feel soo much better about myself. They have created such a positive and friendly environment that you will thrive in. The small group PTs become like a 2nd family and you actually look forward to working out. They push you to be the best version of yourself and I can't thank them enough for what they have done for me. I now know how to look after my body and eat healthy without depriving myself and still enjoying all the things I love.

Fantastic experience: Signed up for the small group PT sessions. This is my 4th week and I absolutely love my sessions ran by the dynamic duo, Nicola and Chris. As others have mentioned, there is a great vibe in the well set out studio. Everyone one there works hard and we all feel the benefits, even myself after only a few weeks. Nicola and Chris are super knowledgable, approachable and friendly. I couldn’t imagine receiving the same dedication and attention anywhere else. Highly recommend The Rack.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently started attending The Rack for the conditioning classes on Saturday mornings and I love it! The coaches, Chris and Nikki are very knowledgeable and approachable. Whether new to exercise or seasoned this class caters for all! Always a good vibe during the workouts! The gym its self is lovely and well maintained and well kitted out. Plenty of parking and easily accessible. Highly recommend.

Prior to joining the online coaching I couldn’t lift an Olympic bar now I can lift it above my head ! My strength has improved massively
Fantastic experience: Heard good things about The Rack a few months ago, got in touch for free trial with Chris and Nikki & signed up there and then. Easy to get to, easy to park and it’s housed within a new workspace that has a lovely coffee shop and shower facilities within ! I Opted for 3 month rolling programme which is competitively priced in comparison to other PTs. Also loved the option of morning or evening small group sessions -x3 mornings fits well with my day to day work routine . All exercises and use of weights/ machines is backed up with fantastic knowledge and guidance to help support motivation & progress. Both of them work hard to build relationships and a community vibe ( trips, runs & and walks out-with the classes ) whether your a beginner or looking to improve or preparing for a Hyrox or a marathon , this is def an option for you …. You know you’re in safe hands with Nikki & Chris

I’ve had 1-2-1 training and coaching with Nikki postpartum with my first and now do small group PT after my second and Love the fact I can get my workout in before the rest of the house wakes up. Conditioning class on a Saturday is brilliant and a really good challenge. Great atmosphere!

Fantastic experience: Chris and Nikki are excellent - I found The Rack having seen a review by one of the Gym’s existing clients. I’m working with Chris on 1to1 sessions for weight / strength training as it was something I wanted to do to help my cycling but felt put off by bigger gyms. As well as being a great coach, with a focus on technique, Chris is incredibly knowledgable about all things sports and food Science and has helped me understand ‘the why’ behind the training and nutrition. It’s also good fun.

Fantastic experience: Been working with Nikki for around 7 months, the first thing I'd say about the service is it's flexibility (it's not all about going to the gym!) and responsiveness. The other thing which sets it apart is the community aspect, you can be as involved as much or as little as you like but its there and is really supportive. I've tried a lot of new things and learned all sorts of different ways to boost my health and fitness.
Fantastic experience: I worked with Nikki online due to location and she was so supportive. I did really struggle with motivation but still managed to implement some habits for life. What she said really worked I just to listen. I got real results and even now when I fall over the wagon I just go back to what she recommended and soon find myself quickly seeing results. For me it was about something that was more like a lifestyle that I could stick to long term rather than a diet and she def delivered. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: If your looking for a structured plan and PT's who genuinely care, the Rack is the team for you. Nikki and Chris will go above and beyond for you. I started training with Nikki in October 2021. She gave me a structued plan, sound advice and made me feel confident again in the gym. I quickly saw great results. Nikki knows I like detail so explained everything to me along the way and answered all of the various random questions I had. Nikki also created a great community where my fellow team members support one another and share hints and tips etc. Not to mention some fun team challenges, well except from the group burpees! When I had unexpected health issues, Nikki worked closely with me to help me find my new normal and navigate a new path to health and fitness.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic facility with 2 amazing coaches. Both Chris and Nikki are so supportive, have excellent knowledge and more generally are lovely people. I have never been able to motivate myself to do exercise regularly but Chris and Nikki provide such a great, motivational environment. I train as part of the small group sessions and I can't recommend them enough to anyone wants to get into regular exercise.

Fantastic experience: Excellent location. Right next to M74. Chris knows his stuff and has a great way of making you do more than you think possible plus he's a great guy and easy to get on with which makes the long rests between sets less awkward than it usually is.

They have a wealth of knowledge, and give you all the help and assistance you need. Highly recommend for any fitness levels

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend Chris and Nikki highly enough. Great facility, fantastic equipment, plenty of parking and just off the motorway. Both coaches are very approachable and know their stuff. They have created a great environment where you feel relaxed and supported. I've been working with them for a while with a mixture of small group sessions, 1-2-1 sessions and online support. They have something that will work for everyone depending on your needs and budget. They provide so much information around technique and nutrition. I've had fantastic results, results I never thought I'd get!!
Fantastic experience: Been going to The Rack now for almost 2 months for the small group sessions, 3 times per week and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Chris & Nikki clearly care about their clients and are super helpful when you need to reach out, they also never push you more than you can manage, always at a pace you’re comfortable with. The first time I’ve not dreaded going for a work out! It’s also really affordable, much less expensive than a PT and due to the small group sizes you get the same amount of attention as you would 1-2-1.
Fantastic experience: I've trained in loads of different gyms over the years but nobody explains the techniques as well as Chris and Nikki do. It makes a difference knowing how your body is supposed to move to get the best out your workout. I've been training at The Rack for 12 weeks now, and it's been the best decision I've made. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.
Fantastic experience: The gym is fab, excellent equipment and the most supportive coaches you'll find in Glasgow. Whether you want to join small group sessions or 1-2-1 training, there's something for everyone. Nikki and Chris go above and beyond to make the team feel really included. Can't recommend them enough.
Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend enough! Currently doing small group sessions which I love. Have also done a mixture of 1-to-1 and hybrid training with Nikki. Both Nikki and Chris are great and have definitely helped me overcome my anxiety around the gym which has resulted in me feeling more confident meaning I am able to work out around them and on my own. Such a good support and push to help get you out of that comfort zone and achieve your targets. Equipment within the gym is really good also.
Fantastic experience: An amazing gym with 2 amazing coaches! Nikki and Chris are excellent. They both really know their stuff. I've been doing the small group training for a few months now and it's really brought back my love of training! The programmes are varied and exciting, and I feel I'm pushed to do my best and lift my heaviest! The range of equipment is excellent and there's a really lovely community vibe to the place. It's reasonably priced with a few options for how to pay which is really handy. The location is also excellent and there's loads of parking! I can't recommend The Rack enough, especially if you're someone who's looking to get back into, or start, doing some more weights based exercise.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend enough - I followed the online program as I live at the other side of the country but that didn’t hinder my experience. As someone who was intimidated by the gym I had been avoiding it for years but the team were understanding, worked with me - even doing online tours of my gym with me to walk me through and make sure I was feeling confident. , despite being 500 miles away. I felt supported, never judged and backed by the entire community they have. I’ve also visited the facility on an ad-hoc basis which was so helpful for mastering techniques and boy do they push you to be better. Never looked back
Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, great set up with 2 amazing PTs. They are both supportive and encouraging. They know when to push you out of your comfort zone to get the results you want! My only regret is not finding them sooner! I couldn't recommend The Rack or Nikki & Chris more.
Fantastic experience: Started training with Niki at The Rack. I have been using the Online Coaching program and it has honestly really helped so far, in terms of routine, general fitness and seeing results. After trying lots of stuff on my own I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Rack
Fantastic experience: Great gym with amazing PTs! Started with coach Nikki over 2 years ago doing online coaching and home workouts and now doing a hybrid program with one in person session at the rack each week on top of ongoing home workouts. Have had great results and have felt supported the entire time with a really fun, friendly but professional and knowledgeable service. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
Fantastic experience: Great little studio. I'm doing small group PT 3 times a week and the support from Nikki and Chris is amazing. They keep sessions focused and fun along with ensuring your technique is spot on. The kit in the space is fabulous too. Can't recommend the Rack enough!
