Twisted Pole - Pole Dancing Lessons

Fantastic experience: Twisted Pole is a lovely studio, very well located. It is run very professionally. The studio is always impeccably clean and tidy, all poles are in mint condition, the toilets are clean and in order and everything works. All classes start on time, teachers are in class in advance. There is space to leave your bags and coats and there is a proper changing room, if needed. There is a good variety of classes, so one can try choreo, chair, floorwork, etc, and teachers try to introduce elements of different styles of pole from time to time.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic pole school with a variety of classes. I've been going on and off for over a year to the intro to pole and stretch and flexibility classes (hopefully I'll be in a position to commit regularly so I can make some real progress and try spin and more advanced inverted classes!) The instructors are all so friendly, welcoming, and helpful and the facilities are great - always clean, up to date, and presentable. It's worth every penny just for the confidence boost pole has given me - I always surprise myself with some of the moves I'm able to pull off!

Fantastic experience: A lovely studio, easy to get to and well equipped with mats blocks and more!! Cat is so lovely and is a fantastic teacher for newbies and professionals alike. I’ve only been going since October 23 and was terrified of trying something new with no previous experience at all. I was immediately made to feel so welcome and supported in the studio from the very beginning. Can’t recommend enough :)

I would recommend for total beginners as well as more advanced polers to attend. One of the most safe queer spaces I've been to recently. The community is safe and welcoming to all people

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this studio since the start of 2022 and I can't recommend it more! The studio is absolutely beautiful with lots of natural light and a full wall of mirrors, and plenty of space between the poles, and it's a great location in the city centre. The variety of classes they offer is great and there's plenty of different options such as the levelled classes, flow friday, workshops, heels, stretch, etc - and I love how the open pole classes over the weekend are 90 minutes. Everything is really reasonably priced as well. Every single instructor is fantastic and attentive, and the atmosphere super supportive. If anyone is thinking of starting pole here, don't hesitate!

All the instructors are lovely and create such a supportive and welcoming environment for anyone wishing to start pole, and have been so encouraging throughout my pole journey! Fantastic experience: I began classes at Twisted pole after in late 2020. Cat and her team of instructors are highly accredited in the science of pole fitness, biology and first aid. The studio is a beautiful space, based in the lace market and boasts wooden floors, beautiful period windows. The poles are a mixture of chrome and coated, all with the ability to change from static to spin in a instant. Twisted offers a range of group classes for the first time poler, to the intermediate and advanced, as well as 121 private lessons. Cat also arranges guest instructor classes, as well as heels, chair, choreography classes and photoshoots throughout the year, helping to challenge and document your pole journey. Twisted pole is an inclusive space, and caters for all genders, ages, and levels of fitness and experience. Cat has really helped me improve my pole progression and confidence. You can purchase classes individually or via a multi class package. If you are looking for a studio where you can explore all things pole, feel comfortable as you, meet like minded pole enthusiasts, have fun and have a good laugh, then I would have no hesitation in recommending Twisted pole.

Fantastic experience: Cat, Ceri & Claire all started my pole education on a 4 week beginners' course back in March. Happy to still be here with their support and encouragement. The studio is big, well equipped and well lit. I changed my opinion of I can't and I don't have any upper body strength to I'm gonna damn well try and these ladies are helping me all the way... Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Twisted Pole for anyone who is looking to start their pole dance journey. Studio is spacious, cosy and well equipped but most importantly there are wonderful and talented instructors to teach you some super cool moves! (Dont worry if you are 'not too strong' or ' not too flexible', instructors know how to adapt to your abilities and lead you to progress!) ...and you can always hear laughs and giggles so if you are having a bad day, I can promise you it will change once you step inside the studio! ❤

Fantastic experience: I love Twisted Pole! I've been coming to Twisted since it opened and have been poling for just over 9 years now. Cat constantly pushes me to be my best but even when doing something that isn't one of my strong points she is very patient and doesn't mind going over it in baby steps and helping until I master it. Twisted Pole is so friendly and I go every week not just because I love pole, but because I can't wait to see everyone and my instructor again.

Fantastic experience: Large and airy studio, well equipped. Had a private lesson with Jo, who was friendly and personable. Came away with immediate improvements and really helpful feedback on technique, plus some really directed areas and exercises to work on. Highly recommend!
