Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend The Running Lab for a running assessment. It’s been 10 years since my last assessment, and Christian’s attention to detail was incredible. He tailored his advice to my current goals. After my recent time off running, he shared an example meso training plan based on our session, which I successfully completed. Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend Christian enough. I went to say him for a running technique session having injured my left knee badly 4 months ago and not run since. Christian watched me carefully on the running machine using state of the art equipment. He helped me understand the type of runner I am, how I can improve and even drafted me an extensive return to running program! Worth every single penny.

Fantastic experience: I met Christian a few months ago and found the session extremely helpful. Fantastic experience: After an ankle niggle I've carried for 2 years since starting endurance running, I wanted to see what was going on under the hood with some hard data and metrics. Christian's analysis and report far exceeded anything I anticipated I'd get from a 1 hour session. The level of detail provided and his ability to convey that in a meaningful way really is a testament to his passion for the sport and art of running. I've started to implement some of the exercises into my weekly schedule that we identified could help address the issues I've been having and also a more suitable footwear choice for my running style. Fantastic experience: As a newish runner with very little experience I went to see Christian at The Running Lab mainly to make sure my running form and running posture were OK. The session was great, there was so much insight into my running and movement in general. For something so natural running correctly can be quite complicated and it was to great to visit this very high tech lab to ensure I am doing it reasonably well. Will probably visit Christian again in a while as a way of tracking my progression. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I went to see Christian for a 90 min injury prevention session and he provided me with a very interesting and practical insight into my running technique and current training plan, both during the session and in his follow up report. I now have more confidence and will undoubtedly be better prepared for the London marathon in April. Great value service for runners of all abilities.

Fantastic experience: I saw Christian a little while ago. I had a slight injury in my calf but thought it’d be a good idea to get my running technique analysed and a plan to get back to running. Christian talked through my injury and running technique with such great detail and really helped me become a stronger runner. I have since increased mileage with no recurring injuries and I am better educated about running form. I would thoroughly recommend seeing Christian from fairly novice runnings all the way to expert runners. I have already had a friend who has since seen Christian who has really improved their running technique.

Fantastic experience: I had an assessment at The Running Lab because I had 4 months to prepare for my first marathon and was unable to run due to trouble with my achilles tendon. They assessed my running technique and tendon and came up with an active recovery plan to get me trained up and ready. I followed their advice for the first 6 weeks and built up enough strength to progress onto a more typical marathon training plan. Following their advice I remained injury free throughout training and made the marathon with a really good time. I would definitely recommend The Running Lab.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Christian at the Running Lab after picking up injuries frequently. Christian spent time looking at my running form and provided me with a successful rehabilitation program to get me back running injury free. He has helped with any queries i had throughout the 10 weeks rehab. I would certainly recommend his services.

Fantastic experience: The Running Lab is a true saviour for any serious runner. I had literally ran out of options on how to figure out what was wrong with my running and the reasons for my recurrent tendonitis. The high tech equipment at the Running Lab combined with Christian's expertise sorted out the issue in the space of a 90 minute session. I now have an amazing print out of all the forces that are at play when I run with a detailed analysis of what is really good and what needs to be slightly adjusted. Most importantly, I have a rehabilitation plan based on running itself, which is great as running is my passion. I have recommended the Running Lab to all my fellow runners. Excellent job, thank you.

Fantastic experience: My knee injury wasn’t directly related to running but I went to Christian anyway as the symptoms were often showing after I’d been for a run or had played football. The communication was really good and despite not knowing what was causing me the pain in the knee or what the injury exactly was he identified some problems in my running style, imbalances in the leg with the problem and then using the data told me which muscle to strengthen. After just a week or two the problem receded and I’m now able able to play football again.

Fantastic experience: Very professional - Christian is a former lecturer in physiotherapy, as well as a marathon runner. I went to see him to check whether I was running correctly as I had been given all kinds of advice, which turned out thank goodness to be wrong. I'm a glider, apparently, and not at all likely to injure myself. It was very reassuring to this runner, who only started in August last year. Covid has slowed me down but I feel all ready to speed up again having consulted Christian. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Christian by my physio after receiving treatment and during rehabilitation for a hamstring tear. After receiving thorough analysis of my stride and gate he took me through the findings, which clearly highlighted potential muscle strain and load areas, to help me identify what strengthening exercises to focus on. What I found most beneficial is that through Christian’s assessment and a thorough follow up report I feel much more intelligent about managing injury, through knowledge about load and capacity. I’ve had lots of question post review and Christian has always been more than happy to come back to me with detailed feedback, to help me understand certain aspects of my running and training program. Fantastic experience: I was suffering with a running injury which had lasted almost a year when I went to see Christian. He performed a detailed analysis and put together a tailored 10-week programme to get me back to full fitness. By the end of week 1 I had already seen results, and now, on week 4, I would say that my injury has fully subsided. For that reason, it's worth every penny. He has been easily contactable via email for guidance and advice since my appointment - a great service and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went to Christian unable to run without knee pain and, after a week or two of running every other day, the inability to even climb stairs. I'm now running regularly at a decent pace with no problems at all. Highly recommended.
