Fantastic experience: As a parent I would thoroughly recommend SEKF. The level of training is to an extremely high standard and the club members are stretched to be their very best. Karate teaches the children resilience, respect and discipline, but it's delivered in a fun class, where there are always plenty of laughs along the way.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this club for anyone interested in starting karate. It takes the sport seriously (but never at the expense of the kids enjoyment) and is welcoming and inclusive.

Fantastic experience: Collin and Danny run an incredible club. Our two girls have been members for several years and have not only had excellent tuition in karate but also in important life skills such as self-discipline. The club combines a children and family-friendly atmosphere with the rigour and skill needed to take young people to national and international competition - amazing!

The professionalism and dedication of the instructors is second to none. We would highly recommend this club for both boys and girls.

Fantastic experience: Paul and his brother Philipp have joined the club since they were 7 and enjoy going to the classes which involves a variety of training in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment. They both have gain a lot of confidence, physical strength and self discipline. Colin and his team are fantastic, great professionals who know how to get the best of each of their students. Highly recommend the club and its tuition!

Fantastic experience: An outstanding karate club, suitable for all ages and abilities. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Excellent support and tuition from top Instructors who have competed themselves Internationally. Great opportunities to compete in Internal competitions for beginners and or progressing through the squads to compete Nationally/Internationally. A chance to enhance life skills along the way, boosting self confidence and respect for oneself and others.

Fantastic experience: Our son Finley has been a member of SEKF for four years. He has progressed extremely well under the excellent tuition from Colin and Danny, they have a proven track record of delivering medals and instilling dedication and discipline. The atmosphere at the club is fun and friendly alongside a highly structured training program. Fin has just won his first international medal, a silver in Kata. We are very proud of his achievement so far and he is continuing to grow in strength and confidence.

Fantastic experience: My son took up karate with SEKF at the tender age of six. Collin and his team of instructors were great with him, as they are with all the students. He had so much fun learning the different karate techniques, gaining confidence, self discipline, concentration, and above all making lots of new friends. Eight years later, he is still having a great time at SEKF, training three times a week, achieved black belt, a club mentor to the younger students and a member of the SEKF squad competing all over the country. We, as parents, are so proud of his karate achievements which has only been possible through SEKFs professional tuition, safe environment and lots of fun.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been part of the club now for several years, all 3 of our children train with the club and 2 of children now compete at a national/international level, the training is hard but fun and very disciplined, bringing out the best in all the athletes, the instructors are the best around using their years of personal experience representing club and country at the highest level to help the children achieve some fantastic titles across the club all the way up to international honours. We can’t recommend the sekf enough

Fantastic experience: My son, Elliott Lowman has trained with the Southern England Karate Federation for six years so far and I can honestly say I see him there for many more years. He trains hard and the rewards for him have been immense. He has won many National and International competitions including being British and English Champion in Kumite (fighting) and winning competitions overseas. These have all been WKF approved competitions so a pathway to world ranking and the Olympics is in progress. Elliott’s success is down to world class tuition from Collin Rudkin and his team of instructors including ex England International competitors. Students who wish to compete are pushed hard to achieve their potential, but the club also offers a caring gradual development for students to progress at their own rate. SEKF offers advance and squad lessons which have included world champions of karate, this is truly inspirational as a student and as parents, I do not know of any other club that can facilitate world champions to train our children. The club now in their 25th years is going from strength to strength with champions in kumite and kata. As a parent of a high achieving student I can only thank Collin and his team for developing Elliott as an elite athlete.

Fantastic experience: We moved to the area from Singapore where my son had been learning Karate so looked around & found this club. We were extremely impressed by the instructors & the way the club is run - much better than we were getting in Singapore so joined & would definitely recommend.
