Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Forefront Strength and conditioning 6 week reboot! After seeing the advert for the 6 week programme, I decided to take the plunge and sign up. I was very nervous going into the gym on my first session, but I was immediately put at ease by the coaches and by the other gym members. The coaches are patient and very encouraging and I noticed that everyone was working at different weights and at different abilities. The environment is very relaxed, and people are really helpful. The coaches are really encouraging and are constantly helping people to tweak their technique to ensure maximum gain from each exercise. I really enjoy the conditioning aspect and have learned loads of new exercises and new mobility exercises too which are used at the start of the class. The variety is great and it’s amazing to build up the weights as the weeks go by. The nutrition and recipe pack was great and really informative. I am so glad I found this gym as it really is completely different to anything else I have done and crucially I can really see and feel the results from the 6 week programme both physically and mentally!

Fantastic experience: Joining Forefront has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I originally started going with the goal of losing weight and toning up, but I’ve gained so much more than that. The physical results are great, but what’s really surprised me is the boost to my confidence and mental health. I’ve always struggled with confidence and would often say no to social things or anything outside of my comfort zone (mainly because I’d hate getting ready because I didn’t like the way I looked) But since starting at Forefront, I’ve found myself saying yes more, pushing myself further, and actually enjoying the process. I went out on Saturday and for the first time (since I was about 18) I put a dress on and i actually felt so confident (I normally put on 20 different outfits then cancel !) so this was a huge milestone for me. I feel physically and mentally stronger and I’m slowly starting to like and respect what I see in the mirror. I have had 2 kids and my body’s changed so much (which I used to hate) but now I’m starting to be a bit more gentle with myself and be a bit more accepting of my body. Callum and his team are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. You never feel judged—just supported. They genuinely care and take the time to help you get the most out of each session. I really look forward to my weekly workouts, and even on the days when I’m not feeling motivated, I always walk out of the gym feeling 100 times better. I can’t thank the team at Forefront enough. I’m so excited to keep going and see where this journey takes me!

Fantastic experience: I just finished my first week and I can already feel the difference. From the first day, I could see Callum's professionalism in teaching us how to do the exercises correctly and I could see how much he loves his job, always teaching us with the utmost attention. My body has already improved a lot in this first week and I'm looking forward to the next one. I really recommend Callum and Forefront to anyone who wants to have a healthier life.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Callum now for 10 months and have grew to love this kind of training. The cardio programs I used to love doesn’t agree with my age and perimenopause anymore. Such a friendly and supportive environment. I feel as fit strong and healthy as I did in my 20s to 40s. Thanks to callum for making training enjoyable again! My core strength has improved massively and my energy levels have increased. Worth every penny

Fantastic experience: Just entering week 3 of the 6 week reboot and I'm feeling really good. I have been doing classes in various gyms for a while and avoided anything to do with weights because I honestly thought I hated it and had doubt in my abilities to work with weights but since starting the reboot, I have been really enjoying all the classes. It is a well rounded programme, which has nutrition modules to work through alongside the training so it offers a really good in depth approach. Callum is very knowledgeable and will adapt the classes to meet the abilities of each person training, whilst still making sure that you get a good workout and push yourself each session but not to excess.

Fantastic experience: When I Started training at Forefront with Callum, coming up to 3 years ago now, I was suffering with my arthritis, stiff and painful joints and feeling sluggish. Now I feel stronger, more flexible and much healthier. I love going to the arranged sessions, Forefront is an amazing community, we are all shapes, sizes, strengths and he caters for us all. I couldn’t imagine training anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has always been apprehensive of gym’s, I was nervous about starting at Forefront as I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the first time I walked through the doors I have been met with kindness, positivity and a really lovely group of people. I have been a member for nearly two years and in that time, I have grown stronger and also lost weight. There is a real sense of community, and everyone is working at their own pace. It has also had a huge positive impact on my mental health which in itself has been life changing. Callum and the team are amazing, so if you are considering a new fitness journey, then I can’t recommend Forefront enough.

Fantastic experience: Forefront is an amazing place to train. I've been training at Forefront since 2016 and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I personally attend the group sessions as I struggle to motivate myself. All you need to do is turn up and Callum coaches you through the session. I love that he quickly gets to know what each member is capable of and pushes you to achieve more. I would never push myself at home like I do at Forefront. The environment is fun and friendly. This place is amazing for my mental health too. I love my Forefront family!

Fantastic experience: Just about to start week 4 of my first set of sessions with Callum . Feel great . And after being pretty inactive for the past 3 years I’ve found the sessions to be really informative and push you to your own personal levels . I’m 56 next month so pleased I decided to try and get fitter finally. Thoroughly recommend to anyone to give this a go !!

Fantastic experience: Been going here for for around a year and a half now, I can say the exercises and gym energy and atmosphere is healthy and non judgemental, it’s a great healthy place to be, the equipment is all new and up to date and you get great attention and help from the people there if needed, would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I've trained in gyms for quite a few years now. I competed at national powerlifting competitions and played rugby at a fairly serious level. I used to think that everyday aches and pains were part the experience. I then started training at Forefront Strength and Conditioning. Callum and Tom's guidance on form during lifting, specific warm-ups, and management of training volume have made all my aches and pains disappear. I'm stronger than ever, and yet also less prone to injury at rugby. During the Covid years, Callum guided me through a return to powerlifting using Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE) based methods. I ended up competing and setting personal bests in all lifts, while in my 30s (https://youtu.be/kUHSAuYfGMA?si=Vfko3MBDOL3LEseX). The use of phased training blocks and pivot blocks to balance stress and recovery meant I never felt massively drained, and I never got injured. The coaching was incredibly useful and meant I got my training right. Callum then guided my back into my return to rugby, again using the right exercises, warm-ups and park running sessions to allow me to return to rugby and remain injury free. I only wish I'd come across Forefront sooner!

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Callum for a couple of months now and honestly i'm over the moon. I hadn't trained properly for around 4 or 5 years prior to starting with Forefront and my body was showing and feeling it. I had regular pain in my knee which I thought would hamper me but Callum really took that into consideration with movements and exercises to strengthen it. 2months in and my knee is solid, I haven't had any pain or discomfort since I started. The weight is coming off and the strength is building. I've been to a few gyms over the years and always quit after a while as I feel pressured or lose interest. Every session if fun and I really do look forward to them now. He doesn't put any pressure on you but for me I know he's there to hold me accountable, Something I really need personally. You get through the work but you have fun while doing it which makes it so much more enjoyable. Honestly if you think you want a PT but hate the thought speak to Callum at Forefront, you opinion will change massively!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Forefront since 2020 and I haven’t looked back. The team are hugely knowledgeable, the programmes are varied and actually produce results- all this in a really inclusive and friendly environment. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I dislocated my knee playing rugby and had surgery to repair the ligaments. After the surgery I did a bit of physio but my knee has never be the same. When I attempted to run it was more akin to a hobble. The other night,after one of Callum's sessions, it was raining and I was running back to the car. I was pleasantly surprised; I no longer hobbled. Had I attended Callum’s S&C sessions soon after my knee op I believe I could have returned to playing rugby. My knee feels far more stable and that is all credit to Callum. Thanks Callum

When I started I didn't have a clue what half the equipment was, nevermind what the exercises were, but the trainers are really supportive and great at teaching the correct way to work out. I can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: I did the 8 week program at Forefront Fitness I can honestly say it's the best thing I did. It took alot to enter a gym as my confidence and fitness was at an all time Low but as soon as I stepped In I felt totally at ease. Even though there was a a couple of lockdowns thrown into the 8 week program Callum continued the sessions online. The knowledge, structure and professionalism at the gym is absolutely fantastic. I always left feeling 10 times better then when I walked in. So a massive thank you to everyone that helped me get back on track.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant gym with a true, fully inclusive atmosphere. The kit is amazing, the staff are amazing, and are always on hand to help you with anything. Thanks to Callum's help and knowledge, I have been able to rehab an old shin injury through strength and conditioning training and have now been on my first run in the best part of 5 years.

Fantastic experience: I joined Forefront when I became bored with my previous gym. The programmes are tailored to individual needs, and geared to help you achieve your goals. Sets change regularly so it is always challenging and interesting. Callum and Tom offer great help and advice on technique and any problems with sore muscles. I strongly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to improve their strength and fitness.

Fantastic experience: Forefront is a great place to train - I have been a group member and have had PT with Callum, and both where excellent. In the first 3 months I lost 10 kilos in weight, then gained it back again in muscle! Callum and Tom are always ready to give advice on technique and even on training if you have an injury (or are just really sore!) - if in doubt about if whether this is the gym for you, go for a visit and talk to them!

Fantastic experience: Having the ability to ask a team of knowledgeable coaches for advice and support is where most gyms fall short. Forefront S&C have a coaching team who focus on YOU as a person and deliver coaching and programming to support your goals. My only regret about this gym is that I haven't been training here longer.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Long Eaton if you’re serious about strength gain, weight loss or a tailored programme to support your performance in sport. You are given knowledgeable and professional help to achieve your goals. Callum or Tom are always on hand to monitor, help and advise you, no matter what programme you’re on.
