I have been practising pilates for over 20 years, and more recently Barre, and both methods have given me an enhanced understanding and awareness of my body, my movement patterns, and how breathing properly can help reduce stress and tension. They have helped me minimise back pain, improve my posture and physique and keep injury largely at bay. They have helped repair my body from two Caesarean sections building my strength from within and rebalancing my muscles.
I am passionate about the benefits that Pilates, Bootybarre and Stand Up Paddleboarding can bring and I truly enjoy sharing the benefits of all three methods with others. So come and join me and let me help you realign and reset your body.
Stand up paddleboarding offers a super fun way to play on the water with the added benefit of a full-body workout and the benefits of being out on the water soothe the mind and calm the soul. Perfect for a little bit of self care.
Posture Pilates helps men and women in their mid-life improve their health and well-being by teaching them how to re-discover their mind-body connection, and understand just how good their bodies are designed to feel through the methods of Body Control Pilates, Bootybarre, Stand up paddleboarding (SUP) and SUP Pilates.
An Indian Head Massage focuses on your head, neck, shoulders and arms. It is a deep massage using a variety of pressure and techniques, including circular massagestrokes on your scalp and deep tissue work on your shoulders.
I am so grateful to collaborate with the fabulous Tara of Reflex and Flow Holistic therapies on these self care themed pamper parties. Our pamper parties are the perfect way to relax and unwind in the comfort of your own home for any celebration or occasion. We can accommodate up to 6 guests and each guest gets 1 x 30 minute Indian Head Massage and 1 x 30 minute Reflexology treament plus a gift bag full of self care goodies. We provide everything that is required for the treatments, you just need to invite your friends and tell us where you want us to set up.
Posture Pilates: Opinions
Fantastic experience: I have adored learning Pilates with Rebecca, she shows the required exercises and then helps me execute well. I really enjoy the experience and the stretches, especially as I find yoga so hard. If you have tight muscles and need to stretch and build strength she is a great place to start.
Fantastic experience: Rebecca runs active classes suited to all ages, shapes and sizes. The classes are small enough to enable her to focus on each person and their individual strengths and weaknesses (whilst big enough so that you don't feel too self conscious!). You are not pushed into exercises beyond your level and its amazing how quickly you start to feel the benefits. Rebecca explains and demonstrates each exercise and explains what this achieves. Excellent classes well recommended.
Fantastic experience: This is the best Pilates class I have ever attended. Always challenging, but the exercises are carefully planned to suit the needs of everyone in the group. Fantastic instruction, great results and wonderful advice.....I cannot recommend this class enough! (And this comes from someone who loves to run and run and run!)
