Fantastic experience: Honestly, everyone should have Steve as a PT. No one is quite as encouraging and dedicated to your progress as he is! I started working with Steve in February of this year after having been quite ill and, therefore, unable to exercise. The biggest challenge was getting my fitness back from the bottom, especially, strength wise! I was weak! After 5 months I can not only see a visible difference in my body but also feel so much better, stronger and healthier within myself. I’ve been able to do things exercise wise that I wasn’t even able to do before I was ill! I did 95kg hip thrusts today! Unthinkable previously! Steve puts so much effort into encouraging you to do better and to make real changes in your routine and life. He’s always just a message away and provides you with all the tools and workouts to be your best self! He believes in you so much that you can’t help to start believing that you can do all the things too! There’s no better PT out there!

Fantastic experience: Stephen has simply been amazing! I’m now coming up to one year of training with him, crazy! So I think a cheeky review is needed! I wanted a PT that would have the resources and knowledge that would allow for me to have a very catered fitness plan/strategy for me. He has proven to be amazing with me over the past year with his own gym that maximises your benefit with full body workouts, plus outside of the gym with his fitness app to track my workouts and weight loss. He keeps you in the loop and on track with your fitness goals even outside of his sessions. I don’t feel like I’m ever on my own with it. 20-30mins rotating workouts each morning, suits me just right! What I wanted out of it is what I got. Better sleep, better discipline to apply in life, weight loss, improved strength, diet changes and other health related changes/tips I would never think of. His flexibility and availability is amazing considering the profile of clients he handles. Stephen is an amazing guy! Right from the first session I felt he was the perfect fit, even with all my nerves for starting this journey. Stephen has become someone that I mentally aspire to be at myself with such positivity day in day out and face life’s challenges. I can only imagine how far I will be in the following year, we shall see! So with that said, if you want a PT you can vibe with and connect with for your goals then he is the one! There are a lot of PTs in Cambridge but the standards he set and what he brings to the table is something far more than the price….which I personally think is pretty decent!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Steve weekly for just under a year now and I cannot recommend him highly enough! I was desperately unhappy with my weight and the way I looked in the mirror, after several years of failed attempts at keeping the weight off after a diet I felt really stuck. Since seeing Steve I have lost a lot of weight and have changed shape due to building muscle. I’m now starting to feel confident in my clothes and I’m enjoying social events more because of it. Fantastic experience: Absolutely adored working with Stephen. He got me into the gym for the first time ever, having only ever done calisthenics/training at home. He built a plan that was adapted to my specific goals and time availability, and provided motivation through checking in and cheering me on after each workout. Even though I was mostly only able to work with him online, I felt connected with him throughout the process, and when we met up for sessions in person, he gave clear corrections on technique. The programme price was really fair for the amount of energy, time, and expertise he was able to give. Fantastic experience: Before I started working with Steve all the way from Scotland I felt tired a lot of the time and I couldn't be bothered with a lot of the stuff. My weight was not where I wanted it to be. And also I seen photos of myself which I did not like at all. Before working with Steve, I thought I knew how to get in shape etc but I didn't know how to. I think what really changed was the accountability of the weekly check ins and the knowledge that Steve has shown me even living 7+ hours away One thing that has got my butt into gear is I'm going to be a dad for the first time so I thought I don't want to be fat and I'm fit for my child. If someone was to ask me, is working with Steve a good idea? I say absolutely yes. Life changing He's really good at what he does. You just have to look him up to see how much he's actually done with books, radio talks, client results etc. He knows his stuff. But most of all, he's not just a PT, he's like a friend. Fantastic experience: I started with Stephen’s online coaching feeling defeated by my current routine and lack of progress, my metabolism was slowing down, I was putting on weight where I didn't want to and was feeling low on energy - I'd been doing the same thing in the gym for about six years and felt my routine wasn't serving me. I'd seen Stephen's genuine testimonials and still felt nervous to reach out, but also excited to see what he could do for me. I've always been a bit nervous about the gym, I'm a bit socially anxious, especially in the gym. I feel as a little queer kid growing up, and as a bit of a nerdy kid as well, like the gym wasn't always my favourite place, and I found sports teachers and those kind of people quite intimidating at school, and then as an adult as well. So the idea of having a PT like Stephen, who's kind of at the end of a phone rather than there in person in the gym with you, which I might have found a bit embarrassing, really appealed. I'd seen a lot of his testimonials, and they all seemed very genuine, and it seemed like he helped a lot of people and made genuine change in their life. Working with Stephen has really helped me, I’m getting more compliments which is nice, he's also given me more self-confidence and it's given me more energy and building the structure and the routine with him through the app and through eating and reducing stress and getting better sleep. It's kind of impacted a lot of the rest of the things I do, like all of my job and my friendships. I feel like I've got a lot more energy in the day and I feel kind of more positive and happy. I don't know whether it's the endorphins or whether it's kind of knowing that I've decided to do something for myself and followed through. The app that he gives you with all the exercises in is really structured. I'm a very logical person. And so seeing it all laid out with the incremental weight gains as you go and adding exercises and taking them away, you can track your progress in a much more... numerical way, which I think is quite satisfying. I think also for people who think that maybe getting a PT or going to the gym, like nothing will change and that your body is the shape it is. I really did believe that too .. I kind of tried this as a last resort. I wasn't really expecting it to do anything, but I'd seen all the testimonials. And so I was kind of hopeful that something might be different. I've been doing the programme with Stephen now for maybe two or three months and I can see the changes and other people can see the changes. I feel a lot more better about my body when I look in the mirror. And some of the some of the stresses I was getting from like approaching 30 have really tapered off as I've gained muscle. And just knowing that I have the drive to commit to going to the gym three times a week and to see it through. I've kind of surprised myself and couldn’t have done it without Stephen! I had torn my ACL and during the pandemic I put on 2 stone and my life in general was chaotic. Stephen is endlessly positive, the first thing we tackled were the poor habits I had got into with long periods of inactivity and screen time before tackling the diet and exercise. Stephen has helped me make a number of positive changes which have given me more energy and helped me lose over a stone on weight in a fairly short period of time. We continue to move in the right direction even during a lockdown with weekly video call check-ins and workouts. I could not have achieved what I have so far without his guidance and would encourage anyone needing help to seek him out.

Fantastic experience: Before working with Steve I was wanting to improve my fitness and be consistent with it but could not seem to motivate myself. I have been seriously ill in the past and had irrational fears around causing myself injury so found excuses to not work out. Steve helped me remind myself of what I’m capable of and that in turn drove me to really start regaining my fitness. Fantastic experience: A busy lifestyle: returning to work after mat leave, looking after two children, two dogs and moving house during a pandemic I decided it was time to make some changes to my lifestyle. I have to admit I wasn’t sure how I’d get on reaching out to Steve but I’m glad I did! I felt like it was as good a time as ever to actually commit to getting healthier and happier. I had slipped back into bad habits of comfort eating-big emotional ups and downs in my life such as getting divorced and balancing a hectic timetable of work and home life had resulted in not losing my self confidence hitting a low point and taking my daily mood with it. I knew how to eat healthily (did Slimmingworld on and off since age 20-now age 32). However, I had never really got to the routes of my problems and why I chose food/self sabotaged. Fantastic experience: Before i started online coaching with steve, i felt like i was on a landslide into the bottomless pit of my own doom, i was suffering mentally which effected my physical well being (from comfort eating) and going through my own personal stuff too which really did not help my situation. Steve doesn’t just focus on the training aspect in isolation. Fantastic experience: Training with Stephen is awesome! Before starting training I wasn't happy with my body confidence but I was too nervous about going to the gym on my own. Stephen was great at putting me at ease with different exercises and this training environment allowed me to push myself and learn things I would never have been able to do on my own. While training with him I was off for a period of time due to being ill with a virus, I was nervous about coming back to sessions after recovering but he coached me through that and got me up to being stronger than before in what felt like no time! The consistency of having weekly sessions has really helped build my knowledge, ability and confidence when exercising and weight lifting. A particular highlight being the first time I successfully did pull ups, which I never imagined I could do when I started! If you're thinking about signing up with Stephen, I'd say 100% do it! If I hadn't I'd still be unhappy with my body and scared of the gym instead the body/ self confidence and new skills I have gained since training with him are huge! He's an awesome and understanding coach who genuinely cares about his clients!
Fantastic experience: Steven is a great instructor for me. I started my training session last November. I was disappointed with my body figure with so much fat. Since my session with Steven, I have achieved much greater muscle strength and I am very confident to have a much better figure in the near future. On top of this, Steven is very responsible for the coaching. Even when I was unable to attend the face-to-face training session due to the social distance during the spread Covid-19, we managed to have virtual training sessions online. It was an amazing experience!
Fantastic experience: I worked with an online coach prior to starting with Stephen but he didn't help me the way Stephen did, I made more progress in a shorter space of time. I felt better physically and mentally and I could do things in the gym I had previously been unable to do, Stephen has videos next to workouts to ensure you do them correctly and provides encouragement to help you carry them out. He can make you smile even on days where it feels like the world is against you! When we got engaged Stephen very kindly sent us 'sweating for the wedding tshirts' he's more than just a coach, he's a friend and he genuinely cares about you and your progress, he isn't in it to get your money like some others. I no longer do coaching with Stephen simply because of finances at the moment. After we stopped, Stephen still messaged us to check in and see how we were doing and he even let us continue using the app until we could sort our finances out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Fantastic experience: Before I started these personal training sessions with Steve, I really lacked any motivation to exercise and struggled a lot with self confidence. I was also at the heaviest weight I had ever been. Since working with Steve over the past few months, I have lost weight, gained muscle mass and significantly improved my confidence. After years of hunching my back over, I now have a much better posture and feel that I can walk down the street taller and a spring in my step. Fantastic experience: I've used Steve for over year now to help keep me on track. I run a business that really kicked off (in a good way) a while ago and I just found that I couldn't get myself to exercise as much as I used to anymore due to time constraints. I'm no athlete and had never done weights before but in the 6 months I've been working with Stephen I've gained 3cm on the arms and 6cm on the chest with a shrinking waist. Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend Stephen not just for the results but also because he motivates you and makes you laugh! Before starting training with Stephen I was not very toned and had a very weak upper body compared to my lower body (that's what hockey does to you!) At first I was unsure because PT sessions are expensive, but as soon as I started I realised it was worth every penny! Plus Stephen also set me workouts to do in my own time, which really helped. Thanks to his amazing HIIT workouts I look and feel stronger and more in proportion :D.

Had myself drinking unnecessary pills, sleepless night because of how i looked, worrying on how could i look like a "Men's Health" model, and worst of all having to work with guys who could feel confident about their body and themselves. Fantastic experience: Great coach. Having previously been in shape and then let it slide over the last 10 years (!) at the age of 40 i wanted to get back into shape. I tried cardio++ at the gym but was getting nowhere. 3 months with Steve and my life has literally turned around. Doing weights, eating healthily and carefully recording my calorie intake. He is motivated and keeps me updated with texts, reminding me to eat healthily and hit the gym. I was nervous before starting (having never really done weights before) but have had steady progress in the last 3 months. Fantastic experience: Around 8 months ago I realised that I wanted to do something positive to get in better shape. I was exercising already, mostly cardio, but never seeing the results I wanted. I contacted Steve due to good reviews on here, and immediately I knew it was a good choice. He has helped me realise the reasons I have struggled before and the reasons why I want to improve myself. Fantastic experience: Having always been big on cardio, I had no idea where to begin when I first wanted to ‘tone up’ 6 months ago. That’s when I contacted Steve - the first personal trainer I have ever had. He was not only my personal guide for resistance training, but also my motivator and role model. In half a year, I have managed to see results in myself, and have gained a huge amount of confidence in the way I look. It is this confidence that I find hard to build by simply mimicking YouTube fitness videos. Fantastic experience: I've been training with Steve for a few months now. He's a really good coach. He helped me to rehabilitate after a shoulder injury. Since I've been training with him my shoulder injury has healed and my neck and shoulders feel much better than they did before. He's very good at setting tailored goals for his clients. Fantastic experience: Due to the birth of my second child, I’d stopped training for a few years and was starting to put on weight particularly around my stomach area. I’m 44, 5ft 7 and was approaching a weight of 11 stone so not really overweight but was starting to develop a ‘bit of a belly’ which I was becoming conscious off. I started exercising at a gym about 5 months ago with a plan to becoming leaner and building some muscle (without trying to look like a body builder!). After about 3 months I found that I was making very slow gains and not really losing any fat and due to the type of exercises I was doing with poor technique I was prone to to frequent joint aches and muscle strains post-exercising as well. Fantastic experience: I have a very busy job which makes it hard to find time to exercise and focus on eating right, let alone finding a gym, seeing a personal trainer etc but I was starting to see the effects this lifestyle was having on my body and was not happy about it.
