Fantastic experience: Best gym in Bristol. The workouts are well designed for all types of people, from serious weightlifters to beginners. The sessions involve weightlifting and cardio with a focus on functional fitness. Both the trainers and gym members are very welcoming and fun. Sessions are small enough that it feels like personal training and the trainers help you reach your individual fitness goals. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.
Fantastic experience: Amazing coaching, brilliant constantly varied programming. Have seen immeasurable progress in all my main lifts since training here. A super welcoming crowd too, even at 6am.
Fantastic experience: Joined Hyre about 2 years ago and love it! There's a great selection of classes every day, from early morning to after work, as well as the legendary double on Saturday. Everyone is friendly and supportive which creates a great atmosphere no matter your level or confidence. Awesome instructors who really love what they do. Also, shout out to the real mood boosters... Ziggy and the OG, Mac!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Hyre for around 3 years & couldn’t recommend it anymore highly - the coaches are all knowledgeable, friendly & supportive, the workouts are challenging & enjoyable & overall, Hyre is more than just a gym.
Fantastic experience: I have a fab personal trainer here, Jason. He has been working with me to achieve strength-training goals. I absolutely smashed my goals and I'm still training every week. His coaching has been professional and supportive; I have reached strength goals that I didn't think was possible. I highly recommend fitness training at Hyre.

I'm more team sport orientated and not a typical gym gym goer as I struggle with the motivation and find the corporate gyms themselves lack a bit of soul and community. Hyre gives you the motivation and community which I really enjoy and structured training to give you focus and energy. Love a double session Saturday morning and of course Mr Mac!

Fantastic experience: I did a trial here and was welcomed with open arms. Everything was explained really well and I thought the programming was excellent. My only ask is to add on purchasing one session packs for people travelling to Bristol for work/leisure and looking for a workout in the area.

It's great to go to a gym that's welcoming, no matter your level of fitness and that constantly encourages you to get better. It's also great to have the workouts planned for you, kept refreshing and clearly explained, with coaches that are attentive, correct your form and push you to do your best. The mindfulness aspect, the 1:1 check-ins and the nutrition talks are also a great addition beyond a gym session. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for somewhere to push further than your expectations of yourself, whilst making friends and having fun (plus there's a dog)!
Fantastic experience: Hyre, what a place! Not just a gym but a community of like minded individuals who provide excellent atmosphere daily for the training sessions. A PT experience but within a group across cardio and build. I was a heavy pure gym goer using small weights and not really changing shape! I’m now defined and strong and lifting weights I didn’t think possible for myself. It’s incredibly rewarding and I can’t recommend it to anyone enough. Genuine highlight of 2022 was joining Hyre!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Hyre for 2 & a half years and it’s been a revelation. I am stronger, fitter and happier and have met so many amazing people. The trainers are knowledgeable, encouraging and just lovely in general. 5:30 Blitz on a Monday or the classic Build followed by Blitz on a Saturday morning are my favourite classes - and a real highlight of my week. Love it

The respect and safety I feel as a member is second to none. As someone who started their journey postpartum, Lewis went above and beyond to ensure all my exercises were in safe range for me. Fantastic experience: Hyre is more than just a gym - providing well programmed sessions that incorporate lifting, bodyweight training and HIIT/AMRAP alongside mobility and stretching. I’ve never been to a gym where there is such a strong focus on each individual, with the trainers always coaching you through correct techniques and a focus on quality of movement throughout the sessions rather than speed or reps. Hyre has a professional and friendly atmosphere with a focus on accountability and building healthy habits both in and out of the gym. There is an amazing community feel that I have never had in any gym previously, there is always a great vibe throughout the sessions and I can feel myself getting stronger in body and mind each week!

Now at Hyre Harry, Lewis and Naomi have combined all of their extensive knowledge to offer a great place to train. Friendly, inclusive and they have an impressive holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Fantastic experience: Training at Hyre has completely changed my outlook on health, fitness and mental well being. The small classes allow for the trainers to really focus on members, and I love the MyZone heart rate monitor. There is a great community feel, and the added bonus of Mac the dog :) So happy to be back!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of lots of gyms over the years, large budget gyms, Crossfit etc and I’ve not come across a gym like this yet! The format of the classes is very unique. Usually with circuits, there are loads of stations with loads of exercise on each station. It becomes more about you remembering what comes next instead of focusing on the workout. With Hyre, there are a limited number of stations and you can really focus on each exercise. The combination of exercises will ensure that you’re burning a serious amount of calories whether you’re doing a build class or burn. The guys incorporate weightlifting into some of their classes which I’ve not come across before. I love the space and equipment and there’s the added bonus of Mac! Mac the gym dog will be your number 1 workout buddy, throwing you some serious shade and side eye if you’re slacking...
Fantastic experience: Hyre Bristol is more than just a gym. A group of passionate and dedicated trainers who really care about their members commit time to each and every person who comes through the door. Through well structured training programmes, seminars on nutrition, self-talk, biofeedback and much more, the aim is to improve and prolong members mental and physical health. It’s just fab! Oh and there’s also a gorg dog that will greet you with a waggy tail and smile no matter what time of day it is!
Fantastic experience: Small classes, Lewis, Harry & Naomi know their stuff. Members are super friendly. The MyZone heart rate monitors are a great touch showing performance in the class, perfect for monitoring my progress. Mack, the Golden retriever gym dog is such a good boy!
Fantastic experience: I first came to HYRE back in February when they originally opened and obviously a lot has happened since. I returned this week for the first time since lockdown and catching up with Lewis has been great. There is only so much you can do in the back garden but after spending one session back with an actual PT/coach, you realise how much you’re missing out on. I like to think I’m relatively knowledgeable when it comes to sport and exercise after going to the gym most of my adult life, running around 10km a week and two decades of road cycling, however, there is only so much knowledge you absorb through experience and the internet, and the first session back made me realise how little I really know. Combining strength and fitness with breathing exercises, proper and frequent stretching alongside some mental coaching keeps me excited for the months ahead. And I’m looking forward to the end of garden circuits!
Fantastic experience: amazing varied classes with coaching from professional, friendly and intelligent staff. HYRE offers a range of different classes from balance classes to intense HIIT / AMRAP style sessions. The coaches are always ensuring that you’re working to the best of your ability and offer advice and tips throughout the sessions. The gym is immaculate and super clean and you can always trust Mac the dog to give you a little motivation when it’s needed! I’ve never enjoyed classes as much as i enjoy HYRE and recommend it to everyone. 10/10 !
Fantastic experience: Ive been training with Harry for a couple of years and decided to try out Hyre. I absolutely love the classes! Lewis and the coaches have done a great job of focusing on other aspects to improve your lifestyle and create that community feeling. I would 100% recommend to anyone, the classes are fun, challenging and suitable for everyone.
