Fantastic experience: Afterburn is truly an exceptional gym! As a new Mum of twins, I was nervous about getting back into a routine postpartum, but the entire team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported. They were so accommodating with our newborns, which made all the difference in allowing me to prioritize my health again. The facility itself is hands down the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. There is always a staff member walking around wiping equipment, cleaning floors, and keeping everything spotless. On top of that, every visit begins with a warm smile at the front desk, which makes you feel immediately welcomed. Owner Jack and his amazing team have created something really special here—they should be incredibly proud. I couldn’t recommend Afterburn more highly!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been part of the Afterburn family since nearly day one, and I absolutely love it! It’s such a welcoming, upbeat gym with a fantastic vibe. Jack and the team always greet you with a smile—unless they’re busy putting everyone through their paces in one of their amazing classes (which are definitely worth joining!). If you’re looking for a place that’s friendly, motivating, and full of energy, I can’t recommend Afterburn enough!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been having PT with Jack since January. I was a complete gym novice. I have literally gone from strength to strength, my confidence grows every time I go. The staff are lovely as are the other people using the gym. Today I got encouragement from a lady working out at the gym, and a round of applause when I completed my set (thank you ). The Afterburn community is awesome. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loving Billy's Ladies that lift class. Mixed class of different ages and abilities, Billy goes the extra mile to ensure we all participate safely and for up most performance.

Fantastic experience: Needed a new gym in the area have been going nearly everyday since February and can safely say is the my fav gym ive used, awesome atmosphere, friendly, non - judgemental staff and customers, great equipment which are always thoroughly cleaned and maintained would 1000% recommend giving it a go

Fantastic experience: I came for a sports massage with Lucky. Very professional and friendly. The whole atmosphere of the gym was really nice.

Fantastic experience: Can't highly recommend enough. Went for a sports massage. James was so friendly and felt at easy as I've never been for a sports massage before and was in discomfort from running. He found the problem and by the time I left i was no longer in discomfort and was able to walk normally. Will definitely be going back again. Also they offer it between 6am and 9pm so it's easy to fit it in round work

Fantastic experience: I have been to a lot of gyms that are boring & not personable, however Afterburn is the best community gym I have been to. All the trainers are lovely, know your name, ask how you are and are interested in your progress. It makes such a difference and keeps me consistent. They are knowledgable about fitness & nutrition and understand what members want. The classes are so varied and never boring. The equipment is top notch, all the weights and cardio you could possibly need. They involve members in what they want and it has a lovely atmosphere. They have a vision & it shows. Thankyou to Jack & his team for making me want to keep coming back :)

Fantastic experience: Such a well run friendly place. Love their classes in the early morning and friends that have be made. If you are wanting to join a gym but are nervous these guys will welcome you with open arms! If you are a pro then you will love the equipment! Go say hi and see for yourself

Fantastic experience: An incredible facility, I moved from the Grange Leisure Centre in January and haven't looked back since. The staff are extremely knowledgable and the equipment is top of the range. Check out their social media page if you don't believe me.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely THE most welcoming, encouraging people ever. As someone who gets massive anxiety over going to the gym, they couldn’t be more approachable if they tried. The gym is absolutely spotless and there is ALWAYS someone on hand to ask if you get a bit stuck. Parking is easy (and free) if you are driving. Looking forward to finally making some proper changes this year with the personalised detailed programme given to me. Thank you all x

Fantastic experience: AfterBurn Gym has landed! Physio with Ellie, followed by five Personal Training sessions with James, Jack and Stevie. This is my first time in the gym environment and I have been made very welcome. My goal is to extend longevity in my physical demanding business (garden ponds) and to improve my strength and agility in general, and with a wanderlust for expedition and adventure, both of which will demand strength, determination and stamina, I’m going to need AfterBurn Gym to get fit and strong. Let’s go surfing, climb Ben Nevis, and then Chirripó, the highest peak in Central America! Let’s do this!! I have AfterBurn Gym on my doorstep so I can train for these things.
