Negative experience: Sadly, I feel this centre is going backwards, with recent changes in class times in the new fitness timetable..Also in the last few months moving fitness equipment to another centre...My annual membership is up for renewal and although most of the staff and customers I meet are good people, I'm seriously looking at other fitness options..

Negative experience: When a repair is needed, it take several weeks to be done. Last time men toilet didn’t work for around 5 weeks and now showers have been cold since 3 weeks ago.

Fantastic experience: Went for the last swim and listened to the 1st half of the England Vs USA World Cup 2022 qualifier match. Really enjoyable swim, pool very quiet (in terms of people).

Negative experience: Don't put swimming sessions on at 9pm if your till closes at 9 and you won't let anyone in because they can't pay. Absolute jokes.

Positive experience: Not enough equipment in the gym, but other than that it's a good place. Plenty of staff that are friendly and willing to help.

Positive experience: Easy to park , good selection of shops and Tesco, Iceland supermarket Greggs ,Boyes ,Poundland Superdrug Home bargains and B&M.

Fantastic experience: Went to a party, clean gym seems well equipped gym equipment looks clean and well maintained, staff are lovely always good to go to

Negative experience: Very disappointed that no small pool available for children who can't swim unless under 5

Negative experience: It’s few years now been going there 1- a lost of ppl walking to the changing room plus next to the pool with there shoes on. 2- many ppl use there mobile phones most of the time! You have many staff get this at least once a day! Some of the lessons are many kids in why only person teaching!? Kids only have half a hour many many times my kids lost first 5mins why? The manager is lovely!

Positive experience: The centre has easy parking. Hosts a gym, sauna,swimming pool. Has hairdressers and a beauty room. Many other shops. Economy shops and Tesco. Fast food outlets. Bakeries. It's spacious and easy to get round. The staff are friendly and helpful and very experienced

Positive experience: It MarKO Talking from BBC Radio Tees I have been here a few times using the treadmill in the gym but otherwise staff don't seem that friendly to me sumtimes u have to read body language it's costs nothing to be polite and friendly and smile at your customers but not everyone thinks like I do unfortunately if u are not a friendly sociable type of person with a gud banter then working with the public is not the job for u because u have to be friendly polite sociable hve a gud banter with a smile on your face

Negative experience: I recently visited the Rainbow Leisure Centre and was disappointed to find that the pool was not clean. The tiles were dirty, and people were walking around the pool with their shoes on. It was not a pleasant swimming experience, and I did not feel comfortable swimming in the pool. Although the rest of the facilities at the leisure centre were satisfactory, the dirty pool was a major drawback. I would not recommend this leisure centre to anyone who is looking for a clean and hygienic swimming experience. Update Still disappointing Pool Experience at Every One Active Colby Newham I visited the pool at Every One Active Colby Newham aging , and I must say that my experience was quite disappointing. Firstly, I was taken aback when I witnessed a man openly shaving his beard near the poolside. It not only seemed unhygienic but also created an uncomfortable atmosphere for other visitors. Similarly, I observed a woman shaving her legs in the pool area, which was both unsightly and unsanitary. Moreover, what struck me as odd was that many individuals were wearing their own shoes inside the pool premises. This not only compromised the cleanliness of the pool but also raised safety concerns. It seemed that the pool's staff were not enforcing proper footwear regulations, which detracted from the overall experience. To make matters worse, I noticed strands of hair floating in the pool water. This indicated a lack of proper maintenance and regular cleaning, which is essential for a hygienic swimming environment. It was truly off-putting and made me question the pool's commitment to cleanliness and customer satisfaction. To improve the situation, I highly recommend that Every One Active Colby Newham takes immediate action to address these issues. This should include strict enforcement of hygiene practices, such as prohibiting activities like shaving in pool areas. Regular inspections and maintenance should be conducted to ensure the pool water remains free from debris, including hair. Additionally, the staff should actively communicate and educate visitors about proper pool etiquette, emphasizing the importance of wearing appropriate footwear and maintaining cleanliness. By implementing these measures, Every One Active Colby Newham can create a more enjoyable and hygienic swimming environment for all patrons, ultimately enhancing the overall experience and reputation of the facility. At the end, I must say that based on my experience, I cannot recommend Every One Active Colby Newham pool never.

Negative experience: Booked badminton court for an hour. No other courts were being used. Plenty of people using the cafe, hairdressers. However my main concern was the state of the floor. There was what looked like blood ( dried) on the floor. This was pointed out to a staff member,who hopefully had it cleaned. It hadn't been done whilst we were there!!

Negative experience: Every time the instructor's assistant gets water on her face (which is normal in a swimming pool) she makes an annoyed face. They make children swim back and forth without teaching them how to do it. The place is not the problem, it is some instructors who should not work with children.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, and a staff member by the name of Jack, tall chap with black hair, helped put together a personalised work out regimen for me for free. He was encouraging and professional. He went out of his way to be helpful. I’d recommend him as a personal trainer, he knew his stuff, he taught me muscle groups I’d never even heard of! But most importantly, he was keen to help, hence the positive review.

Fantastic experience: There's a swimming pool here, a gym, and, outside of the leisure centre, lots of shops. There's a B&M, Boyes, boots, card factory amongst others. Just 5 minutes down the road there is the beautiful Fairy Dell; a wooded area with nice walks.

Negative experience: Went into rainbow centre not long ago and the pool was absolutely freezing and when I got out I told them and they said that it was set at the right temperature 28 so so disappointed won’t be back ever I am afraid

Negative experience: I took my 6yr old grandson for swimming lessons only because they boast "award winning swimming lessons ". God knows how they got that award, there are to many kids in the lessons and only one instructor the little pool is divided in two that means not much room at all. the lesson is half hour so he gets to go up pool twice if he's lucky. The instruction is not that good either with the instructor with one eye on the clock..not recommended.

Negative experience: My wife and daugter in law decided to go to the soft play area today 19/11 with a 2 year old and a baby . What a disappointment in was the play area and toys are filthy and delapidated , in this day and age and the current climate we would expect them to be pristine or useable. Then to top it all off my wife took the baby to the toilets to have him changed and she was nearly was sick with the smell , they had not been cleaned , even the disabled was rank, after talking to one off the staff the excuse was the cleaner was off . Not good enough its supposed to be a place of leisure, and the toilet will be used by women and children at all times . Poor show Rainbow I think management need to take visits every half hour or so to inspect . If you have no staff get someone in on contract , hygene is paramount in a place like this . My wife ended up going in the changing room and placing the baby on the wooden benches to change him , bad practice and not ideal . The staff were told and they were very courteous and would look into it . Please contact me if you feel the need but we wont be returning any time soon .

Positive experience: Great lunch at the hub. Had a lovely walk in several shops. Bad experience in post office with horrible employee who insulted my friend who is ill. You can see she's not a well lady and she accused her of jumping the que. A very nice gentleman let her go before him.

Fantastic experience: Good leisure centre, wide range of activities, good choice of machines in gym, pool is good. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Mainly used for gym and swimming lessons for kids. Teachers are all great and are patient.

Fantastic experience: Attended my grandson's birthday party in the gym,5 bouncy castles,popcorn candyfloss, party games and food for the children,£250 well worth it for 30 kids..we thought the food was very poor for the kids tho!! Also the floor in the gym was filthy! Our kids socks were black, not that the kids cared!! But I didn't see anything getting cleaned for the next party coming in! . But I will say the kids had a great time

Positive experience: I've lived near coulby Newham for nearly 5 years and thought I would take my granddaughter swimming for the first time which the pool was great she loved it but not knowing how bookings were I asked if I could book for the following Saturday and got a very frosty reply to no!! and when I asked why she proceeded to talk quiet harsh and said nothing can be booked before 5 days prior which was fine but some customer service with a smile not I carnt be bothered attitude would of been nice the 3 is for the facilities not reception.

Negative experience: Before I went to my gym in Stockton I came to this one. I joined in 2015 use to go early in the morning but since there gym is that small and barely any equipment all the equipment was occupied. Not a wide range of equipment either especially when compared to other gyms

Negative experience: It’s awful the away the staff speak and it’s needs sorting out. All you do is ask for help and they have to be funny about it!? What sort of staff and place are you running. Need sorting! Apart from the some of the staff but it’s would be a better place if you felt comfortable and not silly after the way you have been spoken too.

Negative experience: loved it before it got took over. now there's rude receptionist who can't even be bothered to talk to you. won't ever use again

Negative experience: Hardly any drinks in the fridge, glasses looked dirty. It took 30min to cook 2 bacon sandwiches when the cafe was practically empty. Chips were disgusting and they don't mention what bread they are making your sandwich with. Staff just stood there with face on. On top of that the whole place is unaesthetically pleasing. This is about Coulby kitchen next door to it seen as I can't rate them anywhere else

Negative experience: Absolutely disgraceful. The receptionist was terrible on three different occasions. Not helpful and could not be bothered. All don't online now. I didn't have online access at the time. Wrong information given about classes. Really frustrating. Need to get some customer service qualifications!!!!

Negative experience: Appalling service from Karl Ackerman, Duty Manager. How the hell does this guy have a job? Many broken promises, seems to make prices for room hire up as he goes along and couldn't run a p***-up in a brewery. I could go on, but life is too precious.
