Fantastic experience: Came here as my old gym was getting a new floor and had issues with all this rain…. Very out in the sticks and small Not big but it was not busy. Has everything you would need but due to quantity of equipment if it was busy there wouldn’t be a lot to use Plenty of cardio equipment Good all round local gym. Keep fit guys

Fantastic experience: Friday evening Spin class with either Emma or Paul. Super fun and a great workout. You soon get into the rhythm of the class and it’s very inclusive.

Positive experience: The gym and equipment is good. The opening times, as mentioned by many others, is not. The council have now resolved the underground gas issue, so why not resume back to the previous opening hours?

Negative experience: Signed up for a year membership but wasn't aware they had reduced the opening hours. Can't use the gym etc until mid afternoon - what a waste of money - I wouldn't have joined had I been informed as I used to use it before work. Won't be renewing unless they start opening in the morning. Such a shame as it is a good gym.

Positive experience: When I got there I went to reception and there was nobody around stud there and still no one after a bit. someone else walked in still so staff then a lady went passed and ask if we where on one if the work shops. We both said yes and she said follow me.

Positive experience: Been going here for years... since 2006.. one side of the pitch is full of flies near the trees.. Turf is a little tired.. all in all a decent place to live out your failed dreams of being a pro footballer.

Negative experience: Used it for many years on and off, gym has improved massively but the opening hours are poor 15.30 opening so it’s always busy and struggle to getting a decent workout as there’s to many people on machines and weights plus groups of 3-4 round equipment which can take 20-30 minutes for them to finish. Would be 5 star if they opened earlier in the week and later closing at a weekend to give a greater chance to space people out. Massively let’s it’s self down with the hours with such a good gym Also they have stopped the spin classes throughout the week. Use to be ideal to get in there after a good weights session It is a great price but can clearly see there is enough members to extend the opening times

Fantastic experience: Friendly, helpful staff, fair amount of parking, even when people park in the blue badge bays with no badge! Lift access upstairs to gym, refreshments and terrace.

Negative experience: Tried ringing this place multiple times and it rung out. While phoning reception I walked in and couldn't hear the phone ringing, confused I asked the lady at the desk was this their number and told it was. Stated that I was calling them now and it wasn't ringing, at which point a man got up and said he had taken calls at HIS phone and then proceeded to touch the reception phone. He asked me to call again at which point the phone began to ring and he said it was working and appeared clueless as to why it wasn't the case before. I showed him my call history to prove that I had been calling and he told me condescendingly that he wasn't disputing the fact, however, he couldn't be honest enough to tell me that when he had touched the phone, that he was taking it off divert as the time was not long after opening. While undergoing refurbishment they had no forethought for where to put families who were waiting for children undertaking activities. They had the audacity to suggest a spaces that weren't safe for young children, an area near a staircase and opened into badminton courts and the other an area near the front which opens onto a busy carpark. A SureStart centre is located on site or they could of converted one of the badminton courts and put chairs and shifted the soft play equipment. Now that the refurbishment is complete, it's gone from being able to view your children in the main gym/court area to not being able to see them at all now. Not thought out at all.

Negative experience: Their App allowed me to book 2 badminton courts, and pay for them, with the opening times on the app telling me the venue was open. When we turned up the site was closed. They have since ignored 2 e-mail contacts, one Facebook message, and one voicemail message left to try and get the monies paid refunded to me, together with an explanation of how this can happen. Having just read all the reviews for 'Everyone Active' on Trustpilot, it seems like I am not alone!!

Positive experience: Great leisure centre.. not too busy got everything you need.. It is turning into everyone active same as enderby in a month so I'm not too sure about the pricing and it will definitely be busier due to enderby shutting all of the squash courts.. the people that use enderby will have to use huncote instead... suppose it will be the same with the classes.. people swapping between both... Changed my review score as it's now everyone active.. same service.. same equipment and lessons but a higher price

Fantastic experience: What a gem of a gym. Although I'm on the ancient side, this was my first ever visit to a gym! The helpful staff quickly put me at my ease and I was made to feel comfortable - without being patronised. The gym is compact, very well equiped and parking is a doddle. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Pavilion used to be great but a new ownership has meant it is almost impossible to book a court unless you pay full gym membership. Which we would never use. It is a shame but it looks like after 4 years of weekly bookings we now have to look at a non council run centre. They are advertising as "everyone active" now none of us are. Well done council officials, you have played blinder on this one. This is 4 middle aged blokes who play badminton weekly, now being told they can't. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: We hired the pavilion for our sons 5th birthday party. Well recommended. A modern, clean sports centre with friendly and helpful staff. The party consisted of a huge gym hall with a bouncy castle, football goal and ride on toys all set up for the kids and another smaller room for the food and cake. Price was decent in comparison with other venues.

Positive experience: This is the purpose built Sports Centre clean tidy with good facilities the only problem is the smell I mean a real pong there must be a sewage Farm or something close as it is obnoxious and spoils an otherwise good venue

Fantastic experience: This is a brilliant facility. There are many classes, activities and clubs being run from here, the amenity is outstanding with a lovely little cafe with a play area for toddlers. Staff are very friendly and the bmx tracks look amazing. Actually quite stunned to find such a great facility in the depths of the Leicestershire countryside!
