Fantastic experience: Spartan Studios is a fantastic gym and Reb, the owner, has been a huge part of my fitness journey. He motivates me to show up, has given me expert advice, and helped me sort out my nutrition in a way that’s easy to stick to. The workout plan he made is simple, effective, and tailored to my goals. I’m finally seeing real results, and it’s all thanks to his support and guidance.

Fantastic experience: Sparton studios is a well equipped gym with 2 rooms and an outside area to train when the sun is out . Highly recommend to any one looking for a real friendly community vibe. Such a friendly bunch of people . Very clean and tidy with excellent changing rooms and showers .

Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym, with many unique equipment stations to keep interest and stretch every muscle. Willing to work with you and any limitations of your body to keep fit and healthy. Can and will make difference to your body and mind .

Fantastic experience: Great gym if you're serious about your training. Classes are the best that I've attended out of any gym that I've been a member of before.

Fantastic experience: This is a boutique gym. It is well equipped with plenty of dumbbells, kettlebells, free weights, Olympic bars and plates. Friendly atmosphere too.

Fantastic experience: Rebako is the best personal trainer anyone could wish for. He has the ability to get you to train hard with lots of enthusiasm, encouragement and humour. He's extremely knowledgeable about how to deal with weakness, injuries and weight loss. He has the latest equipment, things you wouldn't get in a normal gym. I have gone from being continually injured from running to being injury free and achieving PBs, that I thought I would never achieve because he looked at my whole biomechanics and focused on strengthening my weak areas and improving my posture. Fantastic experience: I have been training at Spartan studios since it opened 6 years ago and have trained with Rebako for 12 years . Its a friendly place and completely different to a commercial gym . There is a wide range of equipment and there is never a wait for any of it . Rebako is always encouraging and supportive with new ideas and equipment .

Fantastic experience: Really good gym. If you’re new to working out, I would highly recommend. Everyone is so friendly and it’s not overwhelming. Reb the owner is always willing to help if you need any.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic gym/pt studio in derby, I really like that my children can come along, I’ve also seen pets come too! A lovely family, with experienced PT’s/ex athletes/gymnasts/bodybuilders encouraging people to achieve their fitness goals from people’s first steps in a gym to more advanced level of training. Social side with classes but also private studio for personal training too, I haven’t seen this anywhere before. It made me feel comfortable whilst pregnant. I really like the massage room and the theme across the gym of Spartan warriors/Greek vibes, so different to the bigger gyms where you’re just a number, this is attention to detail, friendly and welcoming to all age and abilities.

Fantastic experience: I've been to many gyms and gym classes over the years and can honestly say nothing compares to Spartan Studios, not even close. I've learnt so many new lifting techniques here, the classes are kept small in size to make sure they are more personal, and the whole look and feel of the gym and staff is so welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, and I can even take my 8 year old mini-lifter during school holidays (supervised) for some extra exercise.

Fantastic experience: I have been at Spartan gym since it opened and it's the best place to train. It's very friendly and has great gym equipment. Rebako is a fantastic PT instructor and always gets the best out of you.

Fantastic experience: I joined the gym 6 months ago with low confidence, I was overweight and very down about myself. I trained with rebako and can honestly say he is a fantastic PT. Filled me with confidence, welcomed me to the Spartan family and now I’m seeing results I never thought possible. If u need a PT, he is your man 100% fantastic gym!

Fantastic experience: We joined Spartan Studios during the summer. We were looking for a fitness centre where we would feel comfortable and not be judged on appearance and ability by other members, as so often happens. Our one to one sessions with Rebako are fun, hard and enjoyable, with Rebako’s mantra “Easy” ringing in our ears. Fantastic experience: What a great and inspirational guy Reb is. I entered the gym on my first session on 20th May weighing 110kg, today 29th July I have dropped 15kg down to 95kg. Fantastic experience: I can't rate this place highly enough! Being disabled with mobility issues as well as having severe anxiety, there's just no way I'd manage at a commercial gym... but Spartan Studios is amazing and Reb is helping me to get stronger and healthier in a safe and supportive way. It's honestly changing my life! Join! You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased to have found Spartan Studios! I was a bit nervous about joining a gym after so long but there is a really friendly atmosphere and I felt really comfortable. Fantastic experience: I found this place looking for a gym not part of a chain and wanted to be taken care of as an individual. I met with Reb who wasn't phased at all by my recent weight loss surgery and listened when I explained how I wanted to be fitter, stronger and learn to love training! Every week I've been progressing and can feel the difference. The gym itself has different areas, equipment plenty and more importantly I feel so welcome. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Derby's hidden Iron Paradise, and a real gem in every sense of the word. I live in Ashbourne, and work in Derby. So using this place given that there are so many gyms/studios that I have closer access to, pretty much says it all in my eyes. Using this place, I have gained so much knowledge in body mechanics, lifts and movement. I have been training since I was 14, and now touching 40, so you think I'd know all there is to know. Having taken a 3 year hiatous due to injury and spinal surgery, thinking I'd never train again, I found solace in this place. I have regained some ground on building my physique, and getting back into great shape. Before my unfortuante injuries, I was close to being stage and competition ready. Here's where the rebirth of my journey began. So thank you to all the staff at the studio, and keep up the hard work that you put in, which I've seen you relentlessly put in day and night. On a separate note, (and only members will understand).....I will lead the board on Watt bike, and Ski machine, (not that it's a competition of course - but everything to me is a competition!!!). So up your game members, I'm coming and I'm hungry!

Fantastic experience: Great gym, excellent equipment, Rebako the owner is a monstrous top lad too. There's even a projector if you want to crack on with the insanity workout!

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic little gym, the only place I will go to now in Derby. It has all the equipment you could want for weight lifting (including Olympic movements), circuit training and intervals. There's plenty of equipment so I've never had to stand around and wait for something. I've not had any of the one to one sessions but Reb is very helpful and gives advice if you need it. Cannot recommend it more.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been training with Rebaco for nearly ten years and have followed him wherever he has worked. Spartan Studios and Rebaco are ideal for us we are senior citizens and have always been encouraged to attempt things we thought we couldn't do but with Rebaco!s knowledge and encouragement have achieved goals we did not believe we could. We thoroughly enjoy going to the gym and our PT sessions even though he puts us through our paces!

Fantastic experience: I joined Spartan studios in January, I couldn’t be happier with my find. This gym totally suits my needs, I can train with Rebeko or train alone, the gym is never over run and is full of friendly knowledgeable members. Kids welcome, really no excuse for me not too go.. I really feel comfortable to learn how to lift weights correctly, it’s not a showy offy gym full of posers just real people who are serious about their health. I’m on a journey now, not just a number in another gym

Fantastic experience: What a great find...have just started training with Rebako and am so delighted to have found him and Spartan Studios. He’s a great trainer, friendly, encouraging and tough! And the gym has a great atmosphere with everyone being really friendly.

Fantastic experience: Family run gym where they ensure you feel like family. Attention to detail about each individual person so although you are pushed, if you have limitations, alternative exercise is offered so you still get a good work out based on your capabilities. Excellent social activities with other members as well. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Spartans studios is that little hidden gem. Great place to train lots off equipment to use. Friendly & helpful bunch to train with. Also rebako is a great PT lots off advice Group PT are also great. off an evening.. So if your lacking that confidence this is great place to be. Fantastic experience: As a personal trainer that has moved to Derby, I use Spartan Studios to work out personally, it has all the kit you need to do heavy weights thru to HIIT gear, great classes and Rebako is one of the nicest and educated guys in this business
