Guisborough Swim & Fitness Centre

Positive experience: Whenever call them the automated message goes on and on. They take ages to pick up call even though it's not busy at all whenever I see it. When asked for long waiting time for phone line, staff just says someone is always in the office. Bad smell in pool changing room.

Fantastic experience: Guisborough swimming pool is a great place for the family and a fitness gym built on the side why not calling and give it a go

Fantastic experience: Just started swimming lessons at Guisborough swim Centre after70 odd years as a non swimmer.Getting lessons with a very professional young man who is having a hard job teaching an old dog new tricks.Thanks JAK for your pastance.

Positive experience: It's good, loads of different exercise machines to tire you out and make you muscles ache.

Positive experience: Very relaxed local facility to begin my journey to fitness. However, I think I need a few sessions with a personal trainer before going further and unfortunately this is not available in Guisborough so I’ll have to migrate to Redcar for a while.

Negative experience: Tried for over 30 mins to speak to someone to book lessons etc. All I got was a recorded message! Same at Whitby, phone just rang and rang. No one bothered to answer it. Booking facility on line is complicated, but I also needed to discuss with someone what I wanted. They obviously don't need the money! Poor customer service from both venues.

Positive experience: Visit guisborough swimming pool for the gym and the pool. Being an everyone active member I go to many different gyms and swimming pools in the area and guisborough is good because on my door step but the facilities and gym equipment is not the best... feels like they might be hand me downs from other gyms in the everyone active group. Since I let this review the gym has new equipment....

Fantastic experience: Great pool, Very clean Good Change rooms, Many classes held here Aqua Fit every week day and twice on Thursdays one in the morning the second in the evening. All the staff are fantastic and very friendly. There is also a very well equipped Gym with staff on hand to help.

Fantastic experience: Kevin has work really hard to improve the quality of the water. He, Vicky, Zak and the rest of the staff give friendly service and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all the users. This is a real community asset.

Negative experience: I have rang the centre twice, on hold for 1 minute 43 seconds then phone cuts off. Poor service.

Negative experience: The gym is dirty, small, and has rusted equipment. Really awful experience, and not entirely sure what my gym membership is paying for...The staff are polite though.

Fantastic experience: Very nice local pool nothing to fancy and lovely staff. They made my experience so much better

Positive experience: clean and tidy, and making the best of a older facility, water is crystal clear and showers are always warm. superb friendly staff always ready to help, and swimming lessons are excellent my daughter has come on leaps and bounds and loves it.

Negative experience: The place is filthy, really needs to be cleaned every day. Staff always on their mobile phones.
